On a professionally staffed luxury charter yacht you’ll enjoy the luxury service and pampering that's beyond a fine luxury resort. “To spend time on a rich man’s ship for a few days, you’ll need to be a... uh... rich man.”

Or you just need to get invited by a rich man, that’s probably slightly more attainable.

Mega-yacht owners offset the costs of ownership by renting out their vessels. Ask Herb Chambers. "Excellence V" is a down-size from E IV. When it takes 2 days to fill-up with fuel ...you know you're in another league

The rule of thumb is that a yacht cost 10% of purchase price...per year...for crew and maintenance.

There is an '07 Abeking & Rasmussen yacht, same approximate length and same manufacturer as the Excellence V, for $48.9 Million

The Excellence V charters for $661k per week (fuel extra) She has a 30,115 gallon fuel capacity. (BURP)

Yachts are way too small to go on the ocean with.
They are like toys in the ocean compared to a cruise ship.

Unless you like roller coasters it is far better to get a suite on a moderate sized cruise ship like the Holland America line.

I read an article not too long ago about some guy who now owns the world's biggest yacht. He previously owned the biggest one until some other rich guy had one built bigger so he had this newer one built.........

That's a competition I'd love to be able to afford........LOL!

It’s not all that special being on a yacht. I live on one.

Admittedly it’s not a LUXURY yacht, only at 36ft Tashiba, but, it’s still a yacht.

Until recently, this was our neighbor at the marina:

http://www.charterworld.com/index.html?sub=yacht-charter&charter=sy-taza-mas-6774

That’s more a a luxury yacht.

When I retire, we plan on taking our boat to Europe and then maybe Australia. Who knows where we will end up. Just gonna go “First Star to the right and straight on until morning!”

Monkey business for sure. It’s odd to me because I never saw that in my local news here in Florida. But when a conservative is caught in discrepancies or corruptions it’s widely reported.

That’s more like your own personal cruise chip. When they get that big, I think you either might not know what to do because there’s too much going on. If or when I have the wealth to do this (at least once), I’d go for a smaller yacht.

Even if I could afford it, I would not be interested.

Yay!!! Just got back from my floating hotel last night. My 2 friends and I used it for a few days to shop and go to the Greek Theater to see KD Lang.

#27 maybe Australia?
Be careful the islands around there have cannibals.
You will be the shrimp on their barbie.
