Yes....I guessed that from the ‘lais’ part. It still isn’t a word I think I’ll ever use.
None of the remaining candidates is complaisant. So we have a real donnybrook on our hands!!!!

It was time. We have all had it with this neighbor. I would not have gone over and yelled, but it got this out in the open. He is a nasty man and he encourages his dogs. I stand with the rest of the ‘hood. It’s him against the whole neighborhood. Over a hundred homes and they all know where he lives.
What is wrong with the guy-does he hate all people, or just his neighbors-either way, why doesn’t he just keep to himself, or move someplace else?

Okay then. Some of us, in fact those of us who’ve been on this thread for 15 yrs or so, enjoy learning all kinds of words whether we will ever use them in common parlance or not. We embrace language rather than shunning words as obscure or it useful. Perhaps this is not the thread for you....

A++++ I was reading the comments at the site.....even had to comment on the thread. LOL You got me.
Cops walked away from it this morning........claimed they couldn’t do anything about it. My neighbor went out with her shovel and flung it all back. Gonna be a long hot summer.
