What has happened to the Free Republic that I can’t break away from? You know the one where you knew something big was happening in the world because you couldn’t open the site because of too much traffic (late 90’s)? The one that where you read articles that were of great interest on science, religion, or the bizarro? The one where you would have to don a flame retardant suit if you posted something that was outside the thought prevailing thought process of the other posters? I long for those days as I am sure many of us do as well as those that left. I don’t particularly care for the bulk of the political posting but, like watching television, have decided not to open them up rather than throw in the towel and leave the site. Yet I’m still here waiting for those days to return, checking in every 15 minutes for earth shaking news. These days will pass albeit slower than I like and so too will this election cycle. To highlight the absurdity of your imperfect analogy, imagine what would happen if you were to propose a law that said it was too dangerous for midgets to use the Men’s and the Women’s restrooms, and it was too inconvenient and expensive to provide OSHA safe facilities for midgets. If so, then where do you expect the midgets to urinate and defecate while going about their public business and personal affairs? Are you seriously going to propose they must stay home and let someone take care of them because they are not allowed out in the public view? Are you going to propose they must hold everything until they get home? Are you going to propose they must risk arrest by urinating and defecating in an alley or a field?

As a true Constitutional conservative, I was hoping to be able to vote for Cruz, wishing he did not have some Canadian baggage. I don't really have a clue where D. Trump's position is going to come down on any particular policy issue, but it cannot be anywhere nearly so drastic as any Democrap's.

I have in front of me Human Sexuality: A Medico-Literary Treatise of the History and Pathology of the Sex Instinct for the use of Physicians and Jurists by J. Richardson Parke, Sc.B., Ph.G., M.D. (Late Acting Assistant Surgeon, U.S. Army), 1912. My great grandfather used this reference book in his medical and surgical practice at the time it was published in 1912. Although the book talks about sexual inversions, Sapphism, homosexuality, hermaphroditism, and much more, nowhere does it use your definition for an hermaphrodite. Neither has any other medical or non-medical dictionary. On the contrary, Samuel Johnson, A Dictionary of the English Language, the Sixth Edition, 1885 defined:
HERMAPHRODITE [ . . . ] An animal uniting two sexes. HERMAPHRODITICAL. [ . . . ] Partaking of both sexes.

You are the person who used the analogy of midgets not being allowed to ride on amusement park rides in response to a discussion about whether or not ALL transgendered people must be mentally ill and denied entrance to the Women’s restrooms, so I quite on topic brought your own analogy about midgets back to the original topic of having restroom privileges for an entire class of people without regard for their physical and mental suitability. Would you rather address the subject of whether or not ALL transgendered people are mentally ill and therefore disqualified from using the amusement park rides?

Having been responsible for OSHA compliance I am well aware of what the OSHA regulations encompass. OSHA sets standards for toilet facilities in all places used by employees, which includes all Public Restrooms used by employees in places like Walmart, Macys, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Burger King, Pizza Hut, hospitals, libraries, automobile dealerships, airports, train stations, office buildings, ad infinitum. Quote:

(a) General—(1) Scope. This section applies to permanent places of employment.
