Prior to this primary, I've never seen or partaken in, the vitriolic discussions Ive seen on FreeRepublic before now. Particularly when we all have held the same goal for so long.

But I am now guilty, as others are...

I’m for Cruz.

Me too. And I will vote for him in primary.

But, if trump gets the nomination, I will take a chance with him. other FReepers feel he is ok, I will vote for him on that .

I will never vote to nominate Trump, I just don’t trust him. I think he is the RINO of RINOs. However, if he is our nomination for President, I will vote for him. Better him, I hope, than any Democrat.

I’ll vote but not for Trump. I have never missed a single election in over 40 years. I finally decided during Bush 2 that going over a cliff at 60 mph is little different than going over it at 120 mph. Same end only a slightly better opportunity to by beans and hunker down. I also lived through Ventura here in MN which Trumpeters would do well to study. They are the same kind of critters.

No more compromise even at the cost of the sham [r]epublic.

Nice poetry.

Im for Cruz... but that does not mean I am anti-Trump. If Trump wins the nomination, Im all in at that point.

We may lose a few , but when the general comes along, we must pull together.

We trust one another, we have always been here for each other, any chance at all to take this country back is worth taking.

I will take a chance with trump, some may take a chance with Cruz, either man is our conscience,

We can not just give away any chance we have.

Thank you for your post.

You will find nearly all of us who support Trump would gladly vote for Cruz if he were to win the nomination.

The reverse is not true, however.

You’ve already seen it here in your replies.

Hey, that’s your right (one of the few we’ve got left)
That’s what makes this country great...The rights that we have (or the ones we still have)...

I Can't and won't vote for a false conservative like Trump... To hell with the treasonous left and the corrupted Republicans.

We'll put you down as undecided ...

Yup. Apparently a lot of people on both sides believe they can browbeat unbelievers into submission. And how is it productive to call Ted Cruz a nasty, unlikable, Goldman Sachs, bought Canadian anchor baby?

The tone is set at the top, by the candidate.
