Reading the, maybe justified, criticism of Glenn Beck here, I'm reminded of the quote, "A prophet hath not honor in his own country."

You’re a freeper and you deny someone profit? A lover of capitalism yet the mouthpiece of Marxists?
Glenn forces no one to buy his stuff, sell his stuff or donate a penny to his causes. So why are you so mean?
Has Glenn beck fallen off the wagon again and back to some heavy drinking or has the Mormon Church brainwashed him in to believing he is yet another prophet like Joseph Smith, and Brigham Young! These dys were no prophets they were charlatans, frauds and cheats!

Not really waiting I gave up waiting for his message. I don’t care that he is rich, I am happy that he is rich. If he wants to be a Mormon, I am fine with that but Mormonism is a crock and I will have no part of it!

Prediction, at some point within the next 24 months Beck will declare bankruptcy if he does not take his own life first.

I gave up on Beck when he was still on FoxNews.
A couple of times each month, he would spend a week building up some grandiose news event that was about to happen.
Key words: about to happen.
By week’s end, nothing. Nothing significant. Nothing major. Nothing earth-shattering. Almost as empty as Geraldo’s opening of Capone’s vault.
Beck was too much hype.
Perhaps you made a spelling error and meant PROFIT!

Beck has yet to release anything damning that he said he would.
Mr. Beck suffers mental illness, big time.
He has his moments of coherency. Sadly his state of mental breakdown, outnumber those moments.
