Reading the, maybe justified, criticism of Glenn Beck here, I'm reminded of the quote, "A prophet hath not honor in his own country."
Likening Beck akin to “prophet” aside, I have sensational, revelation news about Beck that I will reveal here on Tuesday next....
So you claim to not be defending Glen Beck, yet compare him to a prophet? Shouldn’t a religious devotee be more honest in their approach?
I was just thinking of that quote.
1. Beck is not a prophet.
2. He is without honor.
Beck has yet to release anything damning that he said he would.
That’s OK
The LORD Jesus Christ said that..about Himself..
Beck is not Jesus, nor is he a prophet..
Would be nice if you provided a link to an article that provided context to your remarks.
Yes there is proFIT in his Blaze channel.
He is a very warped individual.
the closest thing to a prophet out there is Rush Limbaugh but not from any kind of divinity. He reads to tea leaves of current events and can see what the future portends by the radical left’s actions today
Haha.
Exactly.
He is the oral equivalent of click bait. Akin to Alex Jones, or worse.
Glen Beck is deluded. He is mentally unstable.
If you have never read the Christmas Sweater, do yourself a favor and get it and read it. It doesn’t matter what you think of Beck, it’s truly a heartwarming Christmas story.
Deuteronomy 18:20-22
20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.
21 You may say to yourselves, How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord? 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.
As true as it may be that a prophet is never honored in his own land. It is also true that an ass hat is never honored by those who know him best.
Glen Beck cannot be a profit of God when he does not understand who God is. He is a Mormon.
Mormonism teaches that God the Father has a body of flesh and bones and that Jesus is a creation who was begotten in heaven as one of Gods spirit children (See the book, Jesus the Christ, by James Talmage, p. 8). This is in strict contrast to the Biblical teaching that He is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14), eternal (John 1:1, 2, 15), uncreated, yet born on earth (Col. 1:15), and the creator of all (John 1:3, Col. 1:16-17). Jesus cannot be both created and not created at the same time. Though Mormonism teaches that Jesus is God in flesh, it teaches that He is “a” god in flesh, one of three gods that comprise the office of the Trinity (Articles of Faith, by Talmage, pp. 35-40). These three gods are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. This is in direct contradiction of the Biblical doctrine that there is only one God (Isaiah 43:10, 44:6, 8, 45:5).
Because Mormonism denies the Biblical truth of who God is, who Jesus is, how forgiveness of sins is attained, and what the Gospel is, Mormonism is not Christian.
I used to kinda like Beck. He’s a crackpot now though.
Not even remotely sure what that quote has to do with Beck.
Glen Beck is more about profit than a prophet.
