You really have to marvel at the stupidity of progressives and now is one of those times.
One of the main reasons Donald Trump is doing so well in the polls is because he’s saying what many Americans are thinking about illegal immigration and border security.
National Journal columnist Clare Foran worries that if a wall is built on the border, as Trump has suggested, people who try to cross into America illegally could be injured.
Her new column is truly stunning:

Donald Trump wants America to build a permanent wall at the U.S.-Mexico border. “We’ll have a great wall. We’ll call it the Great Wall of Trump,” the real estate mogul told Fox Business recently.
If that ever happens, the consequences could be deadly for the hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants who attempt to cross the border each year, many of whom are unlikely to be deterred by even the greatest of walls.

Just reading the title? I say that it would be good thing for a wall to be dangerous....it might frighten the criminals, preventing them from entering the country illegally (anyone entering illegally being a criminal by definition)

So by this logic anything that would impede a criminal from stealing or committing any other crime might be construed to be a dangerous because undeterred they might come to harm?
I have been asked in the past if I thought my property was worth someone’s life. I think that is something for a criminal to consider, not me. If I roll over and let someone take my property then I am merely a slave to their desires. I believe our constitution considers slavery wrong and most believe its end to be worth fighting for. My point, criminals, while committing a crime should have no safe passage.
You might as well write: Those who persist in putting their hand on the stove top will get burned.
