How dust from the Sahara is fuelling the Amazon
Goal of the study is to make models to predict changes in this dust transport given various global warming scenarios . Therefore it’s just another plan to tap the work of tax slaves to support academic luxury.
The Earth doing it’s thing ,Baby
The dust contains minerals which is picked up by the earth’s magnetic field and deposited there by the wind.
So does South America owe Africa reparations too?
But, wait! The Amazon is supposed to be desert or grass land right now due to all the logging we were warned about thirty years ago!
What happened!
and smog from China crosses into California and beyond.
I think this may be a bigger story related to the dust.
Bahamas Creation Linked to African Dust
Cyanobacteria fed by nutrients carried over the Atlantic in African dust may have initiated the process by which, over millions of years, calcium carbonate collected to build the Bahamas.
In other words:
Nasa needs more funding because dust.
Hey, everyone knows the Bahamas are the former hills of Atlantis. :’)
Evolution in Your FaceLake Victoria, Africa's largest lake, is home to more than 300 species of cichlids. These fish, which are popular in aquariums, are deep-bodied and have one nostril, rather than the usual two, on each side of the head. Seismic profiles and cores of the lake taken by a team headed by Thomas C. Johnson of the University of Minnesota, reveal that the lake dried up completely about 12,400 years ago. This means that the rate of speciation of cichlid fishes has been extremely rapid: something on average of one new species every 40 years!
