SAGINAW, Mich. (AP) Only a couple of families have taken advantage of a new service available at a Saginaw funeral home.

You could stop at McDonalds first and then stop by and see the dead guy while you’re eating a Big Mac.

From the headline, I was picturing a situation where you drive through and drop off the dearly departed. Which, come to think of it, is pretty much the way the local Mexican gang-bangers use our hospital’s parking lot.

I clicked on the headline thinking it was a place where you could check in, pay the fee, commit suicide and everything was taken care of in their driveway.

So if the deceased is named Jack...
Would this be a “Jack in the Box” drive through?

I was in Cincinnati about 20 years ago on business. The guy I was visiting drove me by some of the sights, one of which was a drive-through funeral home. So, it's been done before.
All of the convenience of a drive-through liquor store, without the alcohol.

This has been tried before — it failed because there weren’t that many dead people driving around.
