It seems to be spreading pretty good in Africa, I bet a lot of those were infected outdoors

You mean like a shower in carbolic acid or something like that? How about gaseous formaldehyde or chlorine? Water won’t work.

I mean what I said:

I recall some old civil defense TV spots where workers who'd been involved in nuclear or biological decontamination would take a special shower before removing their hazmat suits.

Whatever special additive might neutralize the nuclear or biological hazard.

Jim

Good comments.

I firmly believe Ebola is more infectious than measles,

like measles is highly infectious PRIOR to showing symptoms, and

has a much longer incubation period than is advertised (20+ days)

I believe the USAMRIID guys know this but are being overruled by CDC because of the panic it will cause.

Hint look at the time of deaths between Duncan death and the young girl he caught it from.

Regards
Lurking’

It is obvious the CDC is incompetant. You can smell the liberal mentality of hoiw that organization runs by the way they try to manipulate these public addresses. "Dr" Thomas Friedtart gets a question he can't answer, he "phones in a friend" by passing it off to some random "dr" on the phone. Then there is the NPR sounding woman that narrates who the next question is from. Makes me sick that they never answer multiple questions that are asked and then move on. They never have a back and forth exchange.

With all the crap that has happened with the NSA, CIA, Secret Service and IRS, how can reporters not grill the CDC director when there is a deadly disease in our country? We should be asking questions that hold the CDC accountable and then hear their answers before this crap gets out of hand. Make that weasel sweat it a little.

Especially that smug jerk “dr” on Fox News, Bernie Seigel, claiming it is hard to get and isn’t very contagious despite people with full protective gear catching it...

Dr. Bernic Seigel has really gotten on my nerves since the ebola story first started. He's been totally dismissive as if he was working for Obama and the CDC. He did seem to be backing away somewhat this morning after the latest news.

Anyone speaking with such certitude and being so dismissive of most all concerns is not worth listening to, and is also probably dangerous to any who take him at face value. ]

. Appears to be a big-time cover up

Publishing it in Nature is not exactly covering it up.

//////

I am talking about the UN, CDC, and the Obama administration. Seems they would have access to those publications too.

Not covered up, only compartmentalized.

14 days since admission to the hospital, 18 days since he was clearly sick and clearly infectious.

I think they really have their list of people to monitor screwed up and based on fantasy.

There are few of the WWII and none of the pre WWII generation alive anymore, but ask them what it was like in the days of polio, mumps, etc before penicillin, vaccines, etc.

They’d tell you that when someone became ill, that person stayed at home under quarantine with a sign in the window noting such. No visitors.

It was deadly stuff back then as this Ebola is now. But unfortunately we don’t have the wisdom and common sense of that generation running the country anymore. Instead we’ve got a college professor raised overseas by a hippie radical leading us.

Right we haven’t heard from his family since he died. Perhaps they have it and it is being kept secret for the CDC’s fear of a violent uprising seeing they were complicit in this happening here in the US.

Was that the liberal judge that chose not to wear protective clothing and have contact with Ebola?

Check Siegel’s bank account. Would not be surprised if he was getting paid off by the CDC and/or obola.

We are told that we need to quarantine people in affected areas.....and we do.

Isn’t stopping flights a method of quarantining? Yet the doctor argues AGAINST it!

“Can one person execute a “don-doff” routine flawlessly? Sure. Can 100 people under extreme stress do it flawlessly 100 times? Not a chance.”

It is NOT TRIVIAL. I go outside sometimes in my version of an “Ebola Uniform” to clear poison ivy. When I take off my clothing, it is not easy to get it right, I have to think about every step and do it in the right order. Or else I end up taking my gloves off early, or wrong, and I lose.

Thankfully it’s only poison ivy, though...and a small amount on me is only small annoyance.

it’s funny we don’t hear anything about the illegals crossing the southern border anymore and haven’t for the last couple of months as if that problem has been solved.
