Freeper Gefn is in the ER with possibly failing kidneys. She contacted me to ask for your prayers. She'd also appreciate it if you'd post any favorite LOLcritters you might have - she's alone and scared and in a lot of pain, and she really loves them.
Prayers for you, Gefn. God wants you well. May the resurrection power of Jesus Christ rise up within you and restore your kidneys to full functioning.

Gefn’s kidneys are fine; the doctors know what’s wrong and are working on it. She’s been admitted as an inpatient, and isn’t up to freeping at the moment.

Everyone, and kitties
Thank you for the prayers and kitteh pictures. The good news is it’s not my kidneys.
The bad news is it’s something in an intestine. I’m currently on morphine because the pain is horrible. I’ve got IVs coming out of one arm so I can’t move it, and I’m on a catheter. I sleep most of the time, which is a good thing I guess because I’m really in pain.
Oh the doctor tells me I would feel better if I could pass gas, but I can’t. Is there a way to do that?
P.S. I sent Slings some pictures of my room if ya all want to see it. It’s the least I can do for all your kindness. I’m blessed to know you all and be a FReeper.
Maybe we could send in a Veterinarian to treat you for bloat?
You could suggest they put you in the hyperbaric chamber to squeeze it back in. Other than that I'm out of ideas.
Yes— good that your kidneys are OK! Guess you will have a scope of some sort to examine the intestines. I would think that will help ease the gas issue.

Eat 4 Altoids (red tin) after every meal, it works "Trust me." It has peppermint in it which is very good for the digestive system.
Have you considered eating lots of raw fruits and vegetables?
On the one hand, I’m very glad to know your kidneys are working. On the other hand, all other types of digestive distress are also blarg and dreck. Many of us get them.
I read “Frenchman’s Creek” over the last couple of days. I’ll send you my report tomorrow, for a little distraction.

Gefn, thanks for the update. Praying again that your doctors will solve whatever this health issue is and that you’ll be pain-free soon! Please keep us posted.
