Ah, Corvettes, the Viagara of cars. Old guys with little endowment love em, especially when their Hummers get too difficult to climb into.

Korvette guy is lucky. I knew a guy who did that, and his car was keyed front to back.

During my Corvette days, I just parked in the outer limits and walked. I detest people who are jerks.

i worked at the facility just behind that location for 2 years. i left my car in the secured area instead of those parking lots.

plenty of cars were stolen from that area.

it’s a real pit

So it’s pretty obvious Corvette-guy is a jerk. What are the chances he’s a jerk with a gun...and an attitude over being “dissed” in front of the g/f? Why risk getting plugged over a parking space?

Another class of idiots-the ones who park so close to your driver’s door that you can’t get into your car.

When they do that, there are invariably many, many open parking spaces in the immediate area, but the one right next to your car is the only one they will consider using.

The last time it happened to me, it was a Cadillac, so that explains everything.

I actually confronted a woman that did this a few weeks ago. I park far enough away to keep the latte sipping yoga pants wearing minivan drivers away but one decided to squeeze in next to me and could barely open her door. I watched from the side as she passed about 20 closer spots and pried her minivan next to my car, squeezed herself out and dragged her fat ass into the lot holding her coffee and her phone. I asked her why did she pass all the closer spots and park so close that she couldn’t open her door and she said “I didn’t notice”.. “You didn’t see the 5000 lb vehicle in the middle of the empty parking lot you parked next to?”

You appear to have a lot of free time on your hands.

I was parked at a restaurant, not particularly near the door and was right in the middle of my spot.

I come out and some jerkwad has parked his full size, extended cab pickup truck so close I couldn't open my door, and in fact, I couldn't even squeeze between the vehicles to get to my door. I got really pissed off, really fast.

After swearing and crawling over the console across from the passenger side(something I've not done in 30 years and not easy as I'm 6'1" 220). I backed my vehicle out and noticed when I turned around that I had my open end/box end wrench set on the back seat.

When the passenger side tail light of the jerkwad was right at my window( and about 8 inches away, wrench met tail light. Repeatedly. Several weeks later I noticed that a few pieces managed to end up inside my vehicle, so I've taped a piece to my picture wall at work

“You appear to have a lot of free time on your hands.”

Grumpy retired guy, retired in January. I operated a water plant for 30 years before that. Couple hours a day, but 24/365 on call. When I left, I took the damn cell phone out on the back 40, and shot it with my Redhawk 44 Mag. Very satisfying. Now I’m restoring old pedal steel guitars, so my free time is more limited that it’s been in years! But I love doing it!

One time an elderly woman somehow squoze (is that a real word?) between me and another car and there was no way she could get out on either side.

As it happened, I was walking up intending to leave, so she demanded that I pull out so she could get out of the car.

Meanwhile she is slamming her door into the side of the other car. It was a beater anyway, so I didn’t feel bad for its owner.

I explained that I couldn’t get into my car, and told her to back out so I could leave, and she could have the entire space to herself.

It devolved into an argument, she accused me of improper parking, but it was actually a grass/gravel parking lot, with no markings to define spaces.

I pointed out that she would be paying for any damage to my car.

Eventually I wore her down, and she backed out.

Needless to say, the next row of the lot was entirely empty, and there was room for hundreds of additional cars.

She was just too lazy to walk another 20 feet.

I don’t endorse vandalism, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

The sad thing is the jerk probably never realized why his light got broken.

An idiot parked me in one time, not being able to comprehend that rows in parking lots are two deep, not three. After about 1/2 hour I was able to get out when one of the other cars left. The fool left his window open, so I applied a generous double handful of dirt and gravel to his seat. It was dry at the time, I wish it had been mud.

Now you’re talking my language, old pedal steel guitars.

I have an old student mode, 3 pedal, 1 knee lever that I need to do a bit of restoring on. The boys in the band and I named her Clank, as the movement of the pedals comes through the pickup when plugged into an amp.

I park way out, too, so no one hurts my 94 jeep with 251k on it so far and because I’m claustrophobic like my jeep. We love open spaces.

I have a 94 jeep and my seat belt strangles me. didnt wear a belt unless on the highway (over 55) until a year ago when I got a ticket. I don’t think we should have to wear a seatbelt if going under 45. Of course in the Northeast 45 limit = 55.

I knew another guy that would park right next to the guy parking in the north 40.

He wouldn’t park too close, but just next to the car that was “trying to be alone”.

Ah! The pickup is microphonic. I’m restoring a ‘73 Shobud S-10. Updating the mechanics to 3 pedals, 5 knee levers and barrels behind four hole pullers. I play a ‘74 S-10 3 pedals 6 knee levers. Waiting on work to be done on my 1963 Shobud Fingertip. Can’t wait, but couldn’t work on that mechanism. It will also be a 3 and 5. Played a Kline Uni 12, 6 and 7 for 20 years, 6/7 nights a week plus studio work. I’m into it!
