Sigh... is nothing sacred?

I would **really** like to see what our good FReeper friend, the marvelous chef Carlo, has to say about this world-class crapola.

Good grief. If parents are too stressed to cook food for their children, they ought not to have children.

Family meals are essential to having a full family life. If you are too busy to cook together and eat together, you are too busy.

When I start to eat out too much I have to reign it in right away otherwise, weight gain, choloesterol goes up.

Probably written by a FemiNazi.

LOL

The last time I saw slate it was on a roof and a pigeon was defecating on it.

With the standard of living in a nose dive, few can realistically afford to cook at home. But I guess most people are in denial of the poverty the welfare state has put us in. I can get fast food or a salad bar box for around $5. If I tried to cook the equivalent at home, it would cost $20, and I’d need to have four people at the table to break even. That’s not including my time, which would be better spent.

Its a hell of a lot cheaper than going to a restaurant.

And let’s slap Mom and her Apple Pie while we’re at it.

Like a backyard cook-out is basically slavery

I always thought they were fun, but now we have been informed that this is a bad thing akin to slavery.

How did humans survive thinking that picnics are fun? We were brainwashed, it's those German and Siberian work camps where the fun happens

So these Libs.....must be libs to write something so damned stupid......want to trash home cooking. SHEESH!

One of the most pleasant, relaxing, satisfying activities of the day, and they want to trash it as stress? That’s liberalism for you.

Yeah...and let's bash Mom and apple pie too, while we're at it.

You can always tell a leftist - they read some morbidly earnest, hand wringing, soul-searching Michael Pollen book and then next day their panties are in a complete twist and the sky is falling and family dinners cause global warming.

And then they blog about it and share it on Facebook.

These people are so effing pathetic and predictable.

friggin idiots, I’d take home cooking over junk food and going out anytime.

So now having a family home cooked meal is wrong according to the left

sociologists Sarah Bowen, Sinikka Elliott, and Joslyn Brenton from North Carolina State University argue that the stress that cooking puts on people, particularly women, may not be worth the trade-off.

Seems awfully sexist for these three women to assume that it would primarily be women who cook the meal.
