Do you ever feel like you're being watched? In the past, you could chalk it up to paranoia, close the curtains and get on with your life.
Thanks to technology, it's not just your imagination. You really are being watched in your home, at work and everywhere in between.
From online advertisers and hackers to the NSA and other government agencies, everyone is trying to keep tabs on you. And things keep getting worse.
If you think you know every gadget and organization that's a danger, think again. Here are three things spying on you that you probably didn't know and that you can't stop.

“Someone on this thread even went so far as to add “clicktease” to the keyywords. “
That was added because the headline didn’t match the story. The headline was written to get you to click but there was no meat in the story related to the headline.

Article says they’ve been putting the black boxes in cars for 20 years already.

the fact that many safety inspections now include plugging into the OBD scan port. If the car won't "talk" to the state's computer, it won't pass the inspection. Continues to amaze me that any American would choose to be a subject of that tyranny. Move or be ruled. No inspections here.

One day soon, all assets will be in a trust, and expenditures will all be in cash. Amen.

The headline was written to get you to click but there was no meat in the story related to the headline. I thought there was meat in the article, but it was a brief overview. IOW, as with many Kim Komando articles, it was more of an appetizer than a main course - NTTAWWT. :)

The “cashless society” is limited; here in NJ the illegal aliens and related black market is huge, and it is all cash.
It had more of a chance when more people were working; when people are reduced to poverty cash is king.

Can’t stop? Well, idunno....
1. Your car: Mine is a 2004, don’t think that will be a problem.
2. Loyalty cards: Over a year ago I switched to 100% cash for local buying. I do have a debit card and use it only for online purchases.
3. Your ISP. Maybe. Although I haven’t read my ISP’s name in any of the articles about this.
FWIW, buying with cash only sure simplifies balancing the checkbook.

“FReepers are the only people who think that clicking on links is a hardship.”
FWIW, I often FReep with an older laptop on which a couple of work applications and FR work well, but other sites (especially news sites) either slow it down drastically or outright lock it up. On another PC I’ll click the links (if it seems innocent), without the related grief.

I would hear her program shorts between other conservative shows and wondered if she was a man or a woman. Good thing they play the bumper music “She’s a Lady” by Tom Jones.
