Hair is a matter of individual quirk. Decent, healthy or excellent physique is close to a universal for both sexes.
Sorry about the soup and water date. When I was that broke but a date needed to be arranged or the opportunity lost, I would prepare the meal myself. My place, her place or a picnic depending on what was the most appropriate or fun venue.
Bachelorhood. I was so eager to end it and now miss it so much. *sigh*

personality sounds great... right up to dinner time.
if you cannot pay for dinner, then you cannot provide for a family. your only prospects will be nut-ball leftist chicks that expect the taxpayer to pay for their rubbers (since you can’t)
personally, I cannot abide personalities that espouse the slacker mindset.

A wise man would think ahead and plan ahead before he should commit to a date with a woman whether he could afford it or not.
Even if I am poor ? and not a lot of money ?
I would still try to make it a enjoyable experience for both of us.... if I can't afford a expensive restaurant ?
Make a nice lunch and have a picnic in a park somewhere on a nice sunny day... she will love it...

Of course ? there are a few exceptions to the rule in real life.
I have a old friend who is a women from Singapore who came here to work for a fortune 500 company as a chief financial adviser who made $75,000 a year even in the early 90s.
She went to our church and she liked me, but was a buddy in the group of guys I had as friends at church.
She even dated a guy I knew who worked at Mcdonalds and had brain impairment from a injury.
She is a happy go lucky kind of women who ? see's the world, as love is blind.... she truly is one of the few women I even know as a good woman..... she just wanted a man to love her.
My other friend also had a difficult time of finding a woman because women were not attracted to him, but he was a electronics geek.
I knew she liked me, but ? I hate it when 2 men fight over a woman, and I didn't want it to ruin my relationship with my friend so I let her go and now they are happily married.

You absolutely nailed it...despite all the predictable posts on this thread that women only care about taking money from men.

i agree with both of your posts
funny thing was it was a 40 min. drive
to get there, the setting was fab, the prices
were neither cheap nor expensive
and he’s the one who selected it
also recently, at a sports bar a man walks in
sits down next to me and tells me he “knows” me
(from the very public place where i work)
we had a fun conversation for over an hour-—
he never offers to buy me a drink or pay for the
wine i had
meanwhile, he goes on about his 3 businesses, shows
me pictures of his very impressive house, blah, blah, blah!
it isn’t always about the woman manipulating the man...

I’m thinking a wardrobe stitched together from hundred dollar bills might do the trick.

Your right, not many, but how many women would choose a physically disabled man who can't support her ?
The men who are in that situation are worse off then a woman who is physically disabled... at least ? if she does find someone ? it will be a man who can support her ?
What about the man ? he is SOL, SHI__ out of luck... and most women would agree...
How many women even with wealth and means to take care of him would take in a man like him ? not many, if at all..
To: krunkygirl
Well, if it was me ? I would tell you right up front that I am not the man for you because I am poor and can’t support you.... at least ? I am honest and not trying to jerk your chain.

" and tells me he knows me (from the very public place where i work) "
Let me guess ? he is ( suppose to be ) a salesman ?
Of course many times all of us tend to forget faces, times, and facts, and of course we may have meet people in the past that ? if we meet again we don't remember, but be very lary of those who suppose to think and say " haven't I seen you before " .... because ? it's a old pick up line....
When I ever talk to a woman ? I am a straight arrow, and right to the point, perhaps ? a little to much...
If I am honest with people ? I expect them to be honest with me.
I don't use pick up lines.... I try to be my self and sometimes have trouble keeping up a conversation with a woman that I like.

A fatter wallet actually impairs my driving a car, that is ? when I do have any money.
It effects how I sit in the car seat and actually gives me pain in my back and legs.
