I would like to thank all who have welcomed me within the past almost 3 wks; esp ., "the old lady". I also vividly recall also "null and void" & lazmataz.
It's been nice having a posting priviledge here as a guest but I don't think FR is for me.
I'm a Constitutional Conservative and as many conservative opinions are voiced here I'm not seeing what I'm personally looking for in commentary.
It's sort of like dating isn't it? After a few dates, a few comments,a few opinions, one begins to draw conclusions. Free Republic just isn't for me.
I prefer a much more constitutionally conservative site to voice my opinion.
I wish you all well and thank you for welcoming me during this time to Free Republic.

you are assuming I’m a “rad troll” & looking for a “rad troll send off”. I have nothing to “out”.
I posted what I have posted in 3 threads or so and my responses and I don’t believe I’ve negatively critical towards anyone here @FR.
And as far as taking into consideration the last paragraph of your post to me combined with your comments above I am at a serious loss here as to how I should translate your meaning and respond.

Wow. Your post 107 tells me, (who also welcomed you,) that you never intended to stick around or you would know EXACTLY who the ‘owners’ of this site are and more importantly, that this site does NOT donate money to any politicians anywhere ever. Individuals here might donate to candidates of their choice, but every penny donated, and I reiterate, DONATED, to this site goes to run this site and you are just as free to post whether you donate or not.
IF you are, as you say, a Constitutional Conservative, and you really wanted a conversation, you would have posted something that might have set the thinkers to thinking and gotten the kind of conversation you say you wanted. Looking through your posting history, I don’t see that at all.
Then, there is your tagline. I mean, really?

I’d hold off on insults or inappropriate humor until you understand who you are talking to.

FR is more social club than true political

You settle in and get loyal to and courteous to and protective of 50-100 folks you know something about or their traits and they reciprocate

The forum while smarter than general public sadly has plenty heartfelt yet ignorant posting.....which means by comparison low info America is pathetic knowledge wise
What is acceptable here is mercurial and has metamorphazised over the past 16 years....it can be hard to follow
I imagine for the founders its like herding cats at times

But....its the most comprehensive clearinghouse for like minded folks there is

this is a real problem on the internet when people are attempting to communicate with each other. We can’t see each other’s faces nor hear each other’s voices, to. unless we choose

If you have not been beaten up and come back to give as good as you get you have not been around long enough to appreciate FR. I have been here 15 years and am just beginning to get involved.
Don’t mean to beat you up but you are not the belle of the ball until you have made a substantial contribution. And, no, I do not mean only in cash. Clearly you have no staying power.
Just curious - why should anyone here care whether you go or stay?

Oh my. What would it take for you to be entirely satisfied? Would you prefer that I beg you to stay? What have you offered by way of Conservative enlightenment that would make me feel in any way inclined to do that?
You have rather insulted this site, first by your overall brush treatment, and then by belittling our intelligence for not living up to YOUR intellectual standards. Well, hon, that’s your story and you can stick to it. I rather think you can’t keep up OR you ain’t what you say you are. Both could be true. Then again, I am a natural meany. Just ask anyone.
