Whaddyathink? Any insights?
Back when I was into Astrology, the eclipse was interpreted as a harbinger of change. Not good, not bad, just that things were doing to be different. Lately, there seems to be a whole lot of projection going on. Liberals want to interpret this as a sign that President Trump will fail. Conservatives seem to want to interpret this as a great beginning.
I like to see it as a sign that God is still in charge and the laws he set forth still govern the heavens.
I'm still trying to figure out what the one in 1979 meant.........
When I gaze into the night sky and see the works of Your fingers,
The moon and stars suspended in place
What is man, that you are mindful of him,
And the son of man, that You would take notice of him?
Symbolic meaning? Since it is an astrological event that occurs predictably, there is no real meaning to it, other than that which you decide to ascribe to it.
Okay, NONE.
There is no Symbolic Meaning Of This Eclipse.
the beginning of sorrows
Wait.....was the eclipse today?
My cat saw it getting darker and woke up and said: “OMG! its getting dark, which means I must have missed dinner... which means I’m going to STARVE TO DEATH!”
Eclipse! The death of kings! Famine! Pestilence! Dogs and cats, sleeping together!
Sometimes an eclipse is just an eclipse.
White Supremacists Need Blocking Out By Dark Supremacists.
A warning from God that he can blott out the sun if he damn well pleases and that stuff really does happen.
It is always darkest right before it gets completely black.
time stops for no one.
That is no moon.
The moon orbits around the earth. The earth orbits around the sun. The sun orbits around the galactic center. That’s about it. None of these things depend one whit on what people think about it.
FYI - didn't happen.
I had heard this rumination before, but had forgotten it. It is a very unlikely coincidence that the appearance of the moon at it’s given distance matches so closely to the size of a disc of the sun that such an occurrence can take place. I don’t call that chance. Not in the only known sentient-being populated planet in the universe.
Like Belshazzar, it never learned from history, so has been unable to read the meaning of one simple word: TRUMP, which is emblazoned across tall towers no less.
