Hey everyone! A follow up to my announcement earlier this week. My book is available today on Amazon. If you like quirky, satirical, historical fiction with a bit of a western flavor, it'll make great beach reading this weekend and for the summer. I think you'll find it timely, too, as it's an allegorical tale about fake news and the gullibility of some folks to drink it up. If you want to take a look, check the link out.
Not knocking you, but I can never figure out Freerepublic’s rule on self-promotion of books. But congrats on the completion of your novel. I know how hard it is to write the dang things.
I took a day off of work today to work on the second book in my series. The first book is about a white hat hacker that saves the world and falls in love. The terrorists in the book were Russian trying to restore the Soviet Empire. In the second book he is going against Chinese terrorists, with a sexy assassin carryover from the first book, but this time he is married with an eleven-month-old baby (same ages as my grandbaby).

I tell you, the cover was frustrating. I searched all over for someone to do the artwork. I really wanted it to be done in the fashion of the old yellow-backed dime novels, with the same engraving style and dramatic imagery. I couldn't find any takers, so I ended up doing it myself. It took a couple of iterations but I think this one works. I'm glad you like it.
And you're right, it's nerve-wracking wondering if people are going to like the book or think it's crap!

Lol,. You will have to let us know how sales from Amazon go over time. There has to be plenty of lurking members how have picked it of their site. If it’s successful enough in digital you may consider a print version also. A lot of us collectors like me who would be interested in an autographed version to go along with the digital version.
Amazon is a tough nut to crack. I gave it away Sunday and it was number 1 in Terrorism books with over 1,000 downloads. Once, price turned back on, a trickle. But I know how launch my second book when it is ready now.
