Lawmakers are inviting 'Dreamers,' Muslim-Americans and others to his joint address before Congress on Tuesday.
House Democrats are seizing on President Donald Trump’s first major speech to Congress Tuesday as an opportunity to troll the new president in prime time.
Many of the same Democrats who boycotted Trump’s inauguration are choosing not to skip his first address to Congress as president, instead opting to bring guests directly affected by the administration’s controversial policies on immigration and refugees and Republican attempts to repeal Obamacare.
“It’s my hope that gallery is going to look like America,” said Rep. Jim Langevin (D-R.I.), who is leading an effort to have his colleagues bring diverse guests Tuesday and will be joined by Rhode Island Dr. Ehsun Mirza, a Muslim-American born in Pakistan. “It’s another reminder to the president that he’s not the arbiter of patriotism.”
The effort is designed to put a human face on Trump’s immigration and refugee policies — and perhaps steal a bit of the spotlight from the president's big speech. Though it's unlikely to resonate much beyond Tuesday night, members said doing something is better than nothing.

Technically this is not considered a state of the union speech. But in any case, historically such speeches were written and sent to Congress. The president himself did not show up to deliver the speech in person. Bit now its just expected that the pres. will be there in person. Maybe because the lure of TV time is so irresistible???
Then again the networks will have a Democrat response speech afterwards I’m sure.

The problem is though that there will be so many of them that they will drag it out for hours- not allowing Trump to speak

And who is putting a human face on those of us who have been paying for these deadbeats for the last eight years? Y'all know, those of us who can't get stuff for our own families because government is seizing the fruits of our labor to buy votes from people who will become permanent wards of the state (i.e. perfect Democrat party voters)

Donald Trump is our peaceful way of counterattacking because unlike you we believe in laws and the constitution, but as you continue the violence, our tolerance is wearing thin. And if you deny us our lawful and peaceful repudiation of all of the evil you stand for, you might be surprised (very briefly) to see those chickens come home to roost.
I would love to see democrats bring illegals to the State of the Union . . . and President Trump allow ICE to arrest and deport them. Real Americans actually don’t like keeping illegals here; it’s only power centers that profit from their illegal status who like the status quo.

How about a few large burly men with signs saying 'open the door' and have a picture of a little girls bathroom door on the sign?
And a few inked up black and brown criminals wanting 'DOORS OPENED - prison doors opened... in the name of 'social justice'...
And last but not least small bright eyed black and brown children attempting to open the door to a good school - a charter school... with a sign saying 'Keep the Children OUT - SAVE BAD PUBLIC SCHOOLS...
