Connnecticut State Police Maj. William Podgorski, one of the lead investigator in the Sandy Hook shooting investigation, died earlier this week. Podgorski, 49, died on Monday following a brief illness and surgery.

Sometime after surgery on Friday, Podgorski was transferred to Yale-New Haven Hospital from another hospital, Grant said. He died there Monday morning surrounded by his family.

Podgorski was not only a part of the Sandy Hook investigation, but also was a hero in the community he served.
He was awarded the Lifesaving Award from the department in 2006 after he came upon a woman that had crashed into the railing and had severed her leg. He used a bungee cord from his vehicle to stop the bleeding. Following the incident, paramedics and emergency room doctors said the woman would have died if Podgorski had not acted as he did.
However, this was not the only time he received the award. He also received the same award a second time along with Outstanding Service Awards.

I’m 45 and I had the same thought.
They say the 40s are a mofo. All your relatives and parents pass away when you’re in your 40s.

What caught me as really damn strange was the video of the father laughing off-camera whose daughter “died” in the so-called shooting and when he came on camera, he was shedding tears.

Thats the video that got me started. Spent the next half year researching. I am still trying to wrap my head around the hundred or so things THAT MAKE NO LOGICAL SENSE.

He actually was a paid actor, according to the internet. I still remember butting heads with another Freeper one time about this and I put him in his place,
