In the first video shown below, A Whole Foods customer shows what he claims is an “unopened” box for the cake that he bought at Whole Foods, and shows that there is an anti-gay slur on the cake. He points out that the price sticker on the side and bottom of the box proves that the box has not been opened.
The customer then sued Whole Foods over the slur.
In the second video, Whole Foods responds by showing its security footage, which shows that when the customer bought the cake, the price sticker was actually on top of the box, not on the side, thus proving that the customer had indeed opened the box.
Whole Foods is now countersuing the customer for knowingly filing a false lawsuit.
I hope Whole Foods wins its lawsuit.

Sounds like another case where "social justice warrior" activists are attempting another "false flag" operation.
Drama "queens" have to start drama.
And now you've explained why they are fighting back. They have to bend over backwards to make faggot employees feel protected.
Had this baker been a normal person, they would have probably not fought back against the "big anus" gay mafia.
Even before the security footage surfaced, there were a lot of red flags about this incident. Whole Foods is hardly a bastion of conservatism, and this incident happened in Austin, which is a Leftist bizarroland already. That a WF employee (high probability of being lib) in liberal Austin would do this is unlikely. Also, I might have missed it, but I don’t recall seeing anything anywhere about how the WF employee would have known about the proclivities of the cake purchaser.
I’ll bet if they could get the cake back as evidence, forensic science could determine the icing that says Love Wins is not exactly the same as the one says FAG.
I’ll bet he does not turn it over to the cops.
Very wise of you!
First of all is this guy gay?
If yes how did Whole Foods know it?
Who buys a customized cake and doesn’t inspect it (could be a mix up and get somebody’s birthday cake).
This guy is half a quart low, he wasn’t sure where he was.
Another crackpot trying for his 15 minutes of fame.
I can’t eat a cake with an anti-gay slur on it. It might force me to go into my security corner!
Yup, this label is plainly visible on top when purchased, and elsewhere for the accusation.
Moreso: the writing on the cake was plainly visible to him when he bought it. There is absolutely no way he would have not seen the slur within seconds of receiving the box. He had every opportunity to inspect it before purchase; he couldn’t have _not_ seen it if it were there.
Stories like this really frost me.
Part of the destruction of this country is that there is no penalty for lying.
Maybe. But the frosting job on that cake was horrible. They might have given the guy what he wanted, but they did a lousy job doing it.
Good. Sue the liar’s bank account, house, car and investments. There is no excuse for false accusations.
Very secret
You go to Green Hills I bet
I go to Cool Springs
Freak quotient a bit less but still there
We get the California Cool transplants out here
Clogs and bell bottoms with 2000 dollar handbag
I buy S and S at Whole Paycheck
Salmon and Soap
We got a Sprouts in Franklin....not impressed
It would be icing on the cake if they get pun-itive damages.
I don’t love people with nose-rings handling my food, but I work right across the street from it, so it’s so convenient I can’t avoid it. Really expensive, but the quality is at least good.
Here’s how mad the CEO’s very mildly libertarian book made Mother Jones magazine:
I hope that Whole Foods sues this worm, and his lawyer, down to their socks.
Ha ha- you mentally deranged loser. Not you grundle.
Bah. More than enough nanny statism already. Short of slander and libel, let the recipient be responsible for discerning what's true and not.
Caveat emptor.
