Conservative Republicans support for Sen. Ted Cruz indicates that the conservative movement is brain dead. If Cruz is the best candidate they can find, then conservatives obviously have nothing to offer. Cruz may be the only Republican presidential aspirant who is dumber than Hillary Clinton.

UKIP is doing quite well on the local level and is forcing the Tories to move to the Right.
Cruz is for building a physical wall and using E-Verify to force self-deportation.
The “trade deals” are encompassed in DEREGULATION and TAX REDUCTION, which are the real current barriers to trade.
Proposing tariffs is ignorant and ineffective.
I’m personally happy as a clam. Like Trump I could ignore the problems of the nation and be quite content but, like him, I cannot stand by and watch the nation go into the toilet. I AM angry about what is going to be visited on my children and grandchildren if this Leftist juggernaut is not arrested and reversed. My fear is that they will not have the opportunities to succeed that I have had.
There is ONE man who has shown the determination and courage to stand in the breech and fight for us. And it isn’t Ted. He can’t debate our problems away, we need a fighter and a do’er.
If you want to discuss irrationality start looking at those who refuse to accept this reality.
There is NO way Cruz can win the nomination or do anything except weaken our candidate unless all the laws of probability suddenly stop working. NO WAY.
It is theoretically possible for all the molecules of air in a room to gather in two cubic inches in a corner too but I would not want to wager the future of the nation upon such a chance.

Trump’s largest and most consistent support base IS conservatives. Conservatives are not just the shrinking numbers supporting Ted.
Haven’t you paid attention to the primaries’ exit polls? In the Southern primaries Trump got more of the Evangelical vote than did Cruz. Being an Evangelical is more indicative of being a conservative than just saying you are one.
This is a reality that cruzettes simply refuse to acknowledge. I guess it’s all under cover in his methodology of super duper secret poison pills - that we the unwashed masses simply cannot grasp!

I am no longer a conservative either. Under the iron-fisted rule of the GOPe “conservative” has come to mean speedbump, pay me to surrender, cheese-eating surrender monkey, that dog won’t hunt, etc.

But, we’ll never know, because if he can’t beat Trump, then he sure as heck can’t beat Clinton.
Trump’s Chicago supporters were attacked in Chicago. They did not do the attacking: they we’re set upon by a screaming, racist, destructive mob. Soros financed the mob. Only a radical Leftist would blame Trump for what Soros directly caused.

Cruz, in the fine tradition of fighting power, uses the bible as a shield. To bad he hollowed out his bible to hide his condoms and his little black book.

When this campaign started I was bemused by Trump and an admirer of Cruz, no more.
It is remarkable to see how anti-Trumpers IGNORE the fact that ONLY Trump has his events attacked by the Radical Left. Can’t they see that HE is perceived as THE enemy and the others can be safely ignored? Are these people honest or do they have another purpose?
Though control by the media works, until it doesn’t. Eventually the lie becomes so outrageous that it breaks on the rock of truth and there is hell to pay. I am not saying that lying never works but that the bigger the lie the bloodier the revelation.
