FWIW, I’d like to be able to Search by dates. And I’d like to be able to go back to posts that I made 8, 10, 12 yrs ago just by doing a date search.
An edit function in the first 10 minutes or so would save me from myself.

I would also urge all posters to include a dateline whenever you post a new thread. It’s irritating to see an article talking about “Harrison Hills” or “Beanfield County” when I don’t even know what state it’s in. So please include a date, city, and state if possible.

Have to be honest, the folks posting on behalf of Donald Trump seem to have no trouble 24/7 posting non-stop on top of, behind, inside, outside and generally all over.

The two things I’d like to see on FR.
1. A button/link at the bottom of every page that “Returns to the top of page”
2. Sticky threads based on issues, not the time they where posted.

StartSSL is a certificate provider that can issue Class I DV certificates and could offer HTTPS protection to FReepers for login. This is one of the my biggest gripes against FR: we’re around for almost 20 years, and we’re passing credentials and everything else in clear text.
