This clown probably hates Trump, because he is embarrassed by Trump. Wonder how many “elite” Walmart haters hate Trump?
This is America, if you are embarrassed by even thinking of shopping @ Walmart, go to Target, pay more and support an uber liberal company. Do it!
Shopping at Walmart enables us to contribute monthly to FR, the Salvation Army, our church and to our grand kids’s college funds and other needy causes like the victims of our recent fire’s in California.
Wonder how many Walmart haters on FR contribute monthly to FR?
Dittoes on Amazon. Choices, free delivery in 1-2 days, and REVIEWS. Just the time saving alone is fantastic: think of the gas you save from going to a few stores like Best Buy, Target, Frys (the Walmart of electronics) as well as the stress hours wasted. Amazon is so efficient.
Because the middle class is disappearing.
Nonsense!
It depends on the neighborhood.
We’re in the top tax bracket and I’ve run into my stockbroker there.
And, we bought at Walmart.com last night, for stuff that’s locally out of stock.
What a puXXX ... I have never walked in to any Walmart and felt that I was in any particular personal danger at all.
Yep-thanks to Aldi I rarely have to go to WalMart anymore.
However, it does depend on the location of the store. The city in which I normally shop is quite diverse. If I go in the other direction, the Walmart is not so diverse and it is a completely different shopping experience. Shockingly so.
I still head to the city that has opened its doors to “refugees” because that’s where the Aldi is, it’s closer and our church and activities are. I avoid Walmart there as much as possible.
” typical Wal-Mart shopper” = typical American these days. As in your fellow American.

Sad, but true.
To me, I’d think a large family would benefit from looking at their foodstuffs, particularly.
Their buying power is big enough to dictate price and packaging for a lot of their things, especially in large sizes. An example, they sometimes have dill pickles by all the famous makers in very large containers - gallon size sometimes. I got one once for about $1.90 and you couldn’t match that anywhere. Same goes for condiments by premium brands and so forth.
I’m retired and cook for my wife who has to work still and I go a mile down the road sometimes once a day to hit WM, Kroger, Ingalls, etc. for specials. Most times most of the stuff I get is from WM because it is cheaper - same thing at the others but more. If it were just more than us two, the buys would be even better, but I can’t store or use family/group sizes that efficiently.
This is untrue
There are a lot of Wal Marts that cater to ghetto trash and other forms across the fruited plain
Problem is there is so much more trash today than 50 years ago no question about that
Middle class like me shop Wal Mart for stuff like TV prices for Kids room
Hunting and rec junk
I’m pretty happy with their higher range towels
Sun tan and beach stuff
Maybe jeans and undies for kids
Some lawn and hardware and in a good clean one I’ll do groceries
But for clothing in general no
And yes some really collect riff raff but not all
I own property in several Wal Mart parcel projects
Can’t go wrong there trust me
Unless they move
“Funny what a $45.00 annual membership fee will do to change the nature of the clientele of Sams sitting next next to a Walmart.”
No thanks on Sams club. Very limited in how you pay for the products they offer. No AMEX or VISA. Both of which i use as company cards. Not worth the hassle.
I know about every Wal Mart in Nashville area too
That new one in Thompson Station is great
The Mt Juliet one too
The worst one I go in is the Charlotte pike store where my car wash is
The one in Leb ain’t great either
Eventually when companies target the lowest common denominator, well, you get, the lowest common denominator.
30 check out lanes with 5 cashiers. Why so many lanes with so few cashiers? Same as a Friday or Saturday.
Now they have self check out, so I go more often. But only when I want to see an item before buying rather than buy online or purchasing regularly used items.
Here in MO, the EBTs are refilled on different dates throughout the month, so there is never the one huge crush of EBT shoppers. I can see how one day refills would be a deterrent.
Our WM is across the street from our Aldi, so they stay competitive, price-wise.
I shop at Walmart every once in a while. I think they went down hill when they started selling food. They stretched themselves in too many directions and tried to do too much, and they turned themselves into a Target or any other store that offers a small variety of not too good quality merchandise. Btw, I used to think they had quality clothing and household goods. Not anymore.
As long as you stick with the “low-diversity” Walmarts, they’re actually pretty good.
