They also want no borders, no sovereignty, no independence, nationalism or anything that resembles it.

Total control with a global centralized government and currency, in world without borders. Total global control/authority.

Read “Captains & Kings” by Taylor Caldwell. A great fictional book about an American dynasty. The family patriach rises from nothing to great wealth and membership on the committee that runs the world from the shadows. Then he crosses them.

It was made into a TV miniseries in 1976.

'Treaties like GATT, NAFTA, CAFTA'

I had thought these were 'agreements' and not a treaty?

You mean the masters of the universe aren’t really the masters of the universe?

They be weak.

Trump has risen too high too fast. They never saw it coming. Now they see it coming but the Trump Train is too popular for them to derail in the usual (ahem) way. I think part of his attacks on Fox and Megyn Kelly is his way of heading them off at the pass, inoculating himself from the power of the press before the real shat-storm begins in earnest. Nevertheless, I agree he should beef up his security, do maintenance on his plane hourly, and if I were Trump, I would hire a food taster, too. lol. Still, I think Donald knows exactly what he’s up against and he is in it for his life now. They’re not going to let him pick up his ball and go home like this never happened, even if he wanted to.

Being able to import cheaper goods helps both American consumers and American businesses. If you tax imports, a lot of businesses who use those goods will have to pay more, and pass those costs onto the consumer or go out of business entirely. A tariff is a tax and has the same devastating economic effects.

If we can get goods for cheap, it’s almost as good as getting them for free. The idea that you would turn down a fountain of free resources because you want to make an American company create them and charge people instead is ludicrous. When you can get something cheap or free, you stop making it and direct your citizens to use their labors on something else. That’s called increasing productivity and the standard of living.

There’s no “lost jobs” that won’t be regained by kicking and keeping the illegals out and by cutting off welfare and entitlements to non-senior citizen, able-bodied people. They’ll take all the jobs illegals currently have, there won’t be a jobs problem, and no consumer or business will be asked to pay more to get less.

Treaties like GATT, NAFTA, CAFTA, for example; as well as the current TPP and its cousins.

To the best of my recollection, none of those are treaties; they are "trade agreements," and therefore effectively unconstitutional because there is no way they would have acquired supermajority support in the Senate.

I would hope that in all of Trumps intentions there is a prime intention of making ordinary US citizens owners of the US.

It’s interesting the UN-promoting leftists have a lot in common with multinational corporate managers in terms of the policies they support.
