Can Trump Really Win??

If you have ever read this blog, you know I am a politically junkie.  I love politics and watch and read everything about it.  And now with the Presidential election and the "Trump Tornado" streaking across the nation like Superman trying to reverse time, I am being inundated with conservatives calling, texting & emailing me in a lather stricken with the "Trump Fascination Syndrome".

And everyone of them asks me in the same enthusiastic whisper, "Hey Mike,  Whatta ya think about Trump?"  And before I am able to muster a coherent response, they immediately follow up with the question, "Do you think he can he do it?"

Their tone almost gushing in excitement and hope that I don't dash their enthusiasm with the typical political pundit brush-off to dismiss the Donald's chances with responses that they have heard like "clown" & "side-show" among other responses from the lib-tard media when asked about the potential of a Trump Presidency.

So, the answer to the question, "Can he do it?" is best answered with my response, "You bet your ASS he can do it!"

Why do I feel this way you ask?  Well, in all the years I have been following Presidential politics, reading hundreds and hundreds of articles & books and combing through thousands upon thousands of comments from fellow conservatives and democrats alike that are disgusting with the sewer their party has become, I have NEVER seen people more angry with the state of the nation than they are today!

They are angry we are saddled with a President that has no regard for the rule of law or our constitution.  They are angry than instead of having the first black President improve race relations and bring us together, we have suffered through 7 years with a Presidential race-hustling, community-agitator that is basically Al Sharpton in a better suit. 

And I continue that in addition to the disgust we have for Barry Obumbles, people are fed up with the milk-toast Republican party that is either too afraid or incapable of calling this fraud out for who he is.  The same-old, same-old moderate republican that wants to appease the independents!  Look where that has gotten us!

These type of go-along to get-along politicians have been as disastrous for this country as the marxist and his gang of political hacks that occupy 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  And the people have had enough.  So much so that they are begging and starving for someone to come along to say it like it is without and PC gag-filter that has muzzled any attempt at true leadership in the Republican party for far too long.

So if you combine the visceral disgust & fed-up attitude that most conservatives have pent-up after 7 years of watching borderline treason at the highest levels of government and the unvarnished non-pc say whatever you feel Donald, you have recipe for people to eat up what the Donald has been saying with a spoon.

He is hitting a nerve with people that is unprecedented.  He is reaching an itch we have not be able to scratch for 7 loooong years!  And it feels sooo good to hear someone with a chance to end this national nightmare say the things that we all are feeling.

Someone to finally say we are losing this country to illegal immigrants.  We are losing this country to run-away government waste. We are getting our clocks cleaned by the Chinese on trade and nobody is doing anything about it damnit!

And when we hear someone who is not afraid of anyone to articulate these points call out Obama as the abject failure that he has been for this country, it is so refreshing and exciting that he is absolutely blistering his competition.

So, when I am asked if Trump can win, I ask them to imagine plucking Barry out of the oval office and plopping the Donald in the chair.  Trump would immediately be responsible for negotiating our trade deals, formulating the Iran nuclear deal and manage the debt/economy.  I then ask them, "Do you think we would be better off with Donald at the helm instead of Obama?"  The immediate honest answer is "Absolutely!"

And as more and more people contemplate that fact, I think the Donald will attract more and more Americans that will honestly say that we need someone like Trump.  We need someone to lead.   Someone not afraid to lead, not afraid of offending anyone.  We don't need another politician to make some minor adjustments here, a tweak there.  We need someone to stop the runaway train.  Turn it around and start the road back to when America was great.  And there are more and more people everyday thinking Trump can be that guy.

So yeah.  Although I would not bet my savings on a Trump Presidency, I sure won't be betting against it! But there is one thing you can be certain of - It's gonna be an amazing ride to see if he can pull it off!  Enjoy the debate!

Can any Rep win? Our rapidly changing demographics fueled by immigration, legal and illegal, will make it very difficult for any Rep to win. Demography is destiny.

Right now, my only expectations are for him to cut into the lead of Jebito the Mexican as much as humanly possible, forcing him to spend increasingly larger amounts of money to stay afloat, and more importantly forcing Jebito to go full Mexican in his campaign. That’s what his frigging consultants will tell him to do.

I’m really coming to the conclusion that the GOP is not long for this world.

It is hard to believe that given the incompetence, idiocy, and corruption of the democratic party that the GOP cannot get together and nominate someone to win. But then again, the incompetence, idiocy, and corruption of the GOP-e is so close to the democrats that perhaps our best solution is a military coup.

Another recurring theme I hear from fellow conservatives is the total disgust for Jeb...

If he is the nominee, he may get more Dim-Bulb party votes than Republican...

He and Her Thighness/Shrillary Cankles are the perfect candidates for the low/no-info crowd.

I really think Trump is a winner...

He has come out so when he speaks, we can understand him, yes I know, the MSM and others says he doesn’t complete his sentences, well we don’t either...

He said what he wants to do with the border and the immigration problems and the wall, and bill it to Mexico...and he has a plan, he just doesn’t want to tip his hand yet...but be assured he has a plan...

He’s a businessman not a politician, he’s not owned by anyone, they owe him...and when someone attackes him, he attacks back, hard, so he’s got a ‘spine’ and uses it...

He has a plan for trade, to get America going in the right direction again, instead of sending everything to another country...you know if you take a business into Mexico and you decide to leave, you have to leave all your equpiment there, right?

He has a plan on how to make the government small again and how to pay off this huge debt obuma has caused....

I just feel he’s the one that will turn America around, and he likes Israel and he’s for the second admendment, and he doesn’t like this planned parenthood murdering of babies for body parts or anything to do with planned parenthood.

He is not happy about this ‘Iran’ crap, infact if he is POTUS, he’s probably tell Iran they owe him for even taking a phone call from them...and no he won’t give them anything...

He’s for the military, and that’s something I haven’t heard about from the other candidates...and if anyone wants our help in a ‘war’, they pay us, first, with and up front end date...none of this ‘we protect the world’ crap...

I don’t know how anyone could NOT support him, I haven’t heard anything from the other candidates, except Cruz that is doing anything except the same old crap of :”I promise the world and the moon and the stars” and when they get in office they do what they want...same old, same old....

The nomination? yes but still a long long shot. The GOPe knows evil and knows it well. Once others are whittled away well, let’s see where the voters go. Iowa and NH are not much more than background noise.

Until a couple months ago I didn’t take Trump serious. I do now and yes, I think he could win. He would get the Christian coalition vote, Tea Party types as well as Reagan democRATS. I realize how destructive third party candidates can be but I would vote for him if he ran independent of the GOP. I would no way in hell vote for Senor Jeb. Regardless, the states need to lawyer up for voter fraud and Chicago style voting of the dead, etc.

Jeb Bush is so damn bad he makes both McCain and Romney look half decent. I never thought I’d see this nation in such a damn mess. Hell we had a crash of this nation’s economy just before this ass Obama, and; then we were some 8.5 trillion in debt. Now we owe well over 18 trillion, are printing money like water, have more folks on entitlements/welfare, are spending more then is paid in taxes, have a military full of fags and lesbians and the Christian religion along with the Lord’s prayer are not welcome in our government or schools. We had best take this nation back and restore christianity and sanity to elected office. Prayer is much needed.

Great post Mike and yes the Donald can do it.
Problem is we will need to help big time.
He will be fighting both parties probably until the end of the primary season and then get marginal help from the GOP.
Both parties are so tied to vested interests they can't go it on their own. They are both wholly owned subsidiaries of lobbyists from everywhere.
Enter Trump.
He is his own man and most likely will only be taken down by driveby lies that stick. It will be our job to make sure when they start lying about him the lies don't stick.

Kabar. I think we must start viewing this election without the two party goggles on.
We have been clamoring for a Constitution (type) Party, and Trump may give us that option.
Trump must stay a Republican to win this time, but in doing so he is gathering the coalition that mike writes about. The Reagan Coalition. GOPe was quick to destroy that coalition after Reagan left. We’re 30 years past Reagan, and we have a whole new generation of people raised in Dem homes, who are looking for an alternative, but what has the GOP offered them? Dem lite.
I think there is a huge population out there that is po’d at all of them like we are, and are itching to nuke the whole mess, and start over. There are also large numbers of minorities out there sick of being pandered to. Hence the reason Trumps minority (including Hispanic) numbers are leading the GOP field as well.
We are also watching the media lose it’s grip around the peoples throat. Most Americans do not watch network news any longer, and Newspaper readership is at an all time low.
The internet dominates where we get our info, and also offers everyone the opportunity to see all sides of the story.
If Trump doesn’t self immolate, we may be seeing a watershed moment in political history. Liberals always overreach and always get more insane when out of power. Their overreach may cost them and the GOP power for many years. That doesn’t mean the country isn’t being repaired.

Summer in Montana is wonderful - so long as you associate yourself with people who can comprehend both the spoken and written word.

I used to pity folks like you who dislike the English language, politeness and grammar. Now I just leave folks like you a smaller than (my) usual tip.
