My daughter and I have been watching a show that sometimes has a somewhat demented cat yowling. Our cat does not appreciate that in the least!

Not long ago, I stepped out the back door and blew on an old predator call I bought years ago.
It set off every dog in the neighborhood, and a few coyotes.
I downloaded the sounds of a bobcat onto my computer and played it. My cat came unglued!

I downloaded the sounds of a bobcat onto my computer and played it. My cat came unglued!Yep, I did that. Microsoft's default sound for you-can't-do-that actions was so tame...I substituted a wav of a tiger growl. Very startling. Gave the cat serious frizzies. Good way to teach kitty to avoid the computer desk.

Watching any show on TV with birds in trees .... my old cat would slink off my lap and ooze across the floor to the bottom of the TV stand before springing at the screen. The other thing that really got to both my cats was an old Marty Stouffer show with foxes playing - their eyeballs almost popped out .... totally entranced.

When I was a teen we had a Kerry Blue Terrier who was not a Bob Dylan fan. Every time I had Dylan on the stereo playing his harmonica, the dog would commence to set up a wail like you’ve never heard. Hurt his ears something fierce.
