Mrs. STC is having a "revision" or possible total replacement to a 15-yr-old hip replacement today.
The hip had started popping out recently resulting in 2 trips to the ER to get it back in, so the time had come.
Mrs. STC has 3 rare bleeding disorders and almost expired during the original hip replacement, so she and her surgeon have put this operation off as long as possible.
Mrs. STC is a retired RN and does a shift 2 hours a day, 5 days a week feeding Alzheimer's patients at the local nursing home, so when I left her off at 5 AM this morning I told her that if she starts "going to the light" like she did 15 years ago and they give her a choice I hope she makes the same choice she made last time and that she comes back to me and her grandkids (age 12 and 9) that she acquired since then and to her volunteer work where she is much appreciated!)
Prayers up Mr. Seizethecarp. I’ve had 2 total replacements and one Revision. The latest replacement last Friday. Ouch! She will be fine kind Sir. She’ll need a lot of help and I’m sure you will be there for her.
In the Name of Jesus I Pray, Amen!
Prayers being said. May God hold your precious wife in his hands.
Prayers up for a full recovery.
FYI...
There are many others watching for developments, of course, but and I will try to keep up with late breaking news on the Arpaio front, but I might miss something in the coming week due to my wife’s situation...
You and the lady have my thoughts and prayers, Carp!
Prayers up!
Done. I hope she has a quick recovery.

Prayers up for her — and for you.
May God guide the hands of the surgeon. May God bring peace to your hearts and erase all fear. Amen Amen Amen. Thank You Jesus.
Prayers for a successful surgery, and a complete and quick recovery.
Prayers for Mrs. STC and you! I had a hip revision in 2012 with serious concurrent medical conditions and it’s fine! Please keep us posted.
Both of you are in my prayers today...
Prayers
Praying here too, for both of you.
Great news! Surgery was a complete success and Mrs. STC is resting comfortably. They only had to do a repair and not a complete replacement of the prosthesis.
Thanks to all FReepers and ping listers for prayers and good wishes of any kind and of any faith tradition!
Mrs. STC will continue to need prayers as her bleeding disorders put her in danger of blood clots in recovery.
One of her disorders makes her prone to bleed (something about factor 13?) and another makes her prone to make defective clots...something about defective fibrinogen. Very complicated.
Thanks for sharing the good news... you’re both still in my prayers...
Way behind, again. So glad Mrs. STC is on the road to recovery. Prayers up for you both.
Thanks for letting us know, Seizethecarp.
Prayers up.
Healing prayers humbly offered up for Mrs. Seizethecarp’s complete recovery and healing without complications.
In the Holy Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
