My challenge to Pope Francis: One which will, of course, go unanswered

Most of you are aware of Pope Francis' concern over the size of Catholic families. The pontiff suggested the use of Natural Family Planning while quipping that married couples do not have to "breed like rabbits."

As I said on Facebook: "It's true that married people do not have to "breed like rabbits." But then, priests don't have to float around the altar like Liberace around his Steinway or resemble Judy Garland."

Where is the Holy Father's concern over homosexual priests? At the onset of his pontificate, when asked about the Vatican's alleged "gay lobby" [read Lavender Mafia] the Pope asserted that while a lobby might be an issue, he doesn't have any problem with the inclination to homosexuality itself: "Who am I to judge them if they're seeking the Lord in good faith?" he said.

Now obviously this comment includes priests who suffer from a homosexual inclination.

The problem?

I think its time for any fair minded protestants to mentally separate the papacy as it is just now, from the Catholic conservatives that clearly exist in numbers.
They are a lot more on our side than the Pope is, and they deserve our support at this trying time.
I don’t like it when Catholics try to pretend that Warren and Osteen represent protestants, and im sure our Catholic conservative brethren would appreciate the same courtesy regarding this naked socialist/leftist as a pope.

I’m more concerned about the burka and beard crown popping them out like rabbits, than I am about Christians making more little Christians.

I agree. I’m personally acquainted with many faithful Catholic conservatives. Some have expressed their deep sadness over the direction the Pope and legions of progressive Catholics have been taking the Catholic Church for many years.

I agree with you. Conservatives need to support other conservatives in the religious arena. My concern is the Muslim ROP. Protestant and catholic have been squabbling for decades and the Muslim threat has quietly been at work in the background.

Agreed. But many conservative Catholics join other Catholics in this pretension that there is “one church” at the visible, human level.

“So do not become proud, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.”

A bishop is still a bishop, even if he becomes schismatic, heretical, apostate, decadent or whatever other adjective comes to mind.

The Scandal of Judas didn’t end with him.

Romans 11:21-22

Cannot give much of a sermon on Romans 11, but:
http://biblehub.com/romans/11-20.htm

An apostate church is far worse than anything Osteen and the twisted sects can do as they were never part of the true church.

ACTS OF THE APOSTLES - Chapter 6
The Osteens of the world were never qualified to ordain anybody but counterfeits.

I don’t know how you, yourself, determine whether a bishop is valid. Many churches have done away with the idea of bishops
http://www.insearchoftruth.org/articles/elders.html

IN any event, Bergoglio (Francis) was ordained by Antonio Quarracino. So for those who believe is such things, it would be hard to argue that Bergoglio is not a valid Bishop.

There certainly could be, and is, dispute over whether Bergoglio is a valid Pope.

These are anti-popes. The third prophecy of Fatima fell on deaf ears. see holyfamilymonastery.com. Come, Lord Jesus!

There are families of all size with good parents and bad parents. We have friends, good Catholics, with six kids under 11 and one due in April. Those kids are good as gold and a joy to be around. They pay attention at Mass and are hardly noticed. It can still be done today as it has been done in the past.
