The Time Has Come
Alan Levy, Gun Owner | Another miserable day In Obama's Dystopia | Alan Levy, Gun Owner

Posted on 10/31/2013 8:08:21 PM PDT by Absolutely Nobama

Fellow Conservatives, the time has come. The time has come to free ourselves from the lackluster idiocy of the Republican't party and go our own way. The time has come to tell the political operatives like Tokyo Rove to shove it. The time has come to turn off FOX Snooze once and for all. The time has come to tell the crony capitalists on Wall Street to earn a living in an actual free market instead of leeching off the besieged American taxpayer.

In short, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a third party. It's time for a third party that understands freedom. It's time for a third party that respects the Constitution. It's time for a third party that understands that only when individuals make their own choices and live their own lives, can America rise again from the depths it has sunken to.

To illustrate this point, let's take a look at a breathtakingly stupid remark from the Weeper of the House, Johnny Boehner:

***

"We want to repeal Obamacare and replace it with patient-centered healthcare."

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/barbara-boland/boehner-we-want-repeal-obamacare

***

Despite the fact that government run health care is collapsing all around us, with trillion dollar deficits, war wounded veterans told to go to hell, and a website written in BASIC by Canadian flim-flam artists, the highest ranking member of the Republican party in CONgress wants play statist mastermind (H/T Mark Levin) and create his own dystopian (and blantantly unconstitutional, regardless of what John Roberts thinks) healthcare system.

I don't know if this is sheer ignorance or willing collaboration with Chairman Obama and His Merry Band of Fascists, nor do I give a damn. There simply isn't enough time to ponder that anymore. The country is dying of a stab wound in the back. Yes, the Dhimmicrats did all the stabbing, but it was the Republican'ts who handed them the knife when they folded and funded Aktion T-4...I mean, Obamacare. In other words, in a perfect world where career politicians could be tried for passing laws that were blatantly in violation of the Constitution, the prisoner's dock would be totally bipartisan.

Yes, I'm fully aware that there were those like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and a small handful of others who fought the good fight against Obamacare. They should be commended. But let's face it, gang, they never had a chance. They were badly outnumbered, with enemies like the Mensheviks in the Republican't party, the Bolsheviks in the Allahu Akbar party, and the misery pimps in the arrogant and lazy media surrounding them.

The bottom line is this: The United States of America is on the edge political, economic, and social disaster. It's pretty obvious that Republican't party is no position to save the day, and to be perfectly blunt and honest, it has no desire to do so.

If that isn't reason enough to form a third party, I don't know what is.

Before I forget....

To the NSA agent reading this post: My name is Alan Levy. Not only do I approve of this message, I wrote it.

I’ve been waiting for a Conservative ever since Reagan left. I kept hoping and hoping, and voting and voting (for the lesser of two evils).

I am DONE with the GOP, and have been for a while. Even if/when the GOP takes control of the Senate, or gains more seats in the House, nothing will change. You’ll have the same career politicians doing what they’ve done for the past 30 years. It’s all about power and reelection. They could give a rats ass about anything else.

I will vote 3rd party from now on. If that causes the GOP to collapse as a viable party, so be it. They are no different than the dems anymore. There certainly are few gonads between them.

Part me hopes for a revolution. We are way passed due for one. I figure that’s the best chance we have to restore our Constitution, even if it’s restored to fewer states.

It's time for a third party that understands freedom

Do you know about the heavy-handed ballot access laws in most states preventing or severely limiting a third party's right to be placed on ballots? In almost every case, large numbers of verified petition signatures must be attained before the election board will allow a name to be posted on a ballot. Republicans and Democrats in tacit collusion created these rules to suppress third parties.

Additionally, in an actual election, the GOP and Conservative candidates will always split the vote allowing the Democrat to win in every case.

The best strategy is to discredit the moderate RINOS for their ineffectual appeasement stance and take over the GOP. Goldwater and Reagan were able to do it in the early Sixties and with the current rudderless drift we are in, it can be done again.

Well first off giving up isn’t an option and should not be even mentioned as there’s enough negatives throughout the party without that hanging out there.

Additionally....how do we know we are even in a position to select a Presidential candidate ahead? I am completely convinced no matter what Romney was going to selected regardless .....and Santorum was thrown in to make sure that would happen. Are we going to see that again?????

Cruz is my choice at this point, if he runs...but be assured Ron Paul’s going to get in the fray as well.....and the Democrates would love to see Chris Christy run. So I can already see a replay of this last election....too many running and definately not enough support for the ones ‘WE’ otherwise wanted. And I didn’t include Palin as I accepeted long ago saying she would not desire to do so, though she can be greatly used in the ways she has many times expressed she wants.

Saying forming a “pact” is great...how???? I hvae my own ideas on that but others need to offer opinions. Whatever happens we need to narrow greatly to at most two we would support who choose to run...and most importantly debate it long before they actually leave the gate.

Thank you.

But the story was intended to inspire those who felt that something that could not be overcome can, indeed, be overcome.

Many do not realize what resolve does. Not strength or numbers...resolve.

I feared my husband. He was bigger, stronger, and there was that wanting to be loved krap.....

Sometimes you've just got to say, I'm not taking it anymore!

My exact thought was “if I'm gonna get beat up anyway, I'm getting my licks in as well”

If we are gonna go down, then go down fighting!

Then let’s form it right now.

Conservative candidate pact.

List of members. Who’s keeping the list?

“Heck we even see this happening on Fr as soon as someone is presented as a potential candidate for Pres....everyone jumps on rips them down....

It’s not only the party...but the people who claim to be Republican and or Conservative .....they are never satisfied with whoever runs and cut our own throats.”

I can’t let that slide.

Good candidates will always win, lousy candidates will always lose big.

For example, look at Ronald Reagan and his vicious primaries against Ford and Bush. The GOP establishment did their best to destroy him and were just as vicious as the Dims, but Reagan won two landslide victories.

Now, let’s look at Mitt Trotsky. He didn’t lose because he had a tough primary. He lost because he sucked as a candidate. Even if you take out the voter fraud and disenfranchisement of active duty troops, Trotsky would have lost, because a lot of the base stayed home, since he was as exciting as damp cardboard.

Just a question....how many of you wishing for a 3rd party are PCP’s in the GOP?

This is what a pact is about.

Your concerns are legit.

I think we can ask those on our list to join the race.

Palin, Cruz, we approach them.

Who says we can’t?

Who says excitement won’t grow?

We form the pact, then discuss strategy.

Maybe we get nowhere. Would it be for lack of trying?

“Let the RINO’s leave and join the Democrats”

That would solve about 50% of the problem...the other 50% would be the old guard stop trying to fight by the old rules that democrats aren’t even remotely playing by. They need to change or leave.

Maybe I’m mistaking you with a different Freeper. But when the Snowden story just broke last summer, I was defending Snowden and another Freeper started to criticize my arguments, attack me for living in China and he defended NSA spying. After a while it got very annoying, so I turned off the computer and opened Free Republic the next morning. Fortunately, I reviewed the comments when I went MIA and I saw someone with a cat-related Freeper name pulverive the NSA supporter. I loved it.

I wish there was an easy answer to all of this. But there isn’t.

I may be wrong, but to me the answers are evident.
2014 midterms are crucial. If the GOPe runs against the base, it WILL suffer meltdown in the general election. That will, IMHO, be the end of the GOP as we know it. Next is the 2016 GOP convention, dependent upon state party delegations. If a meltdown has occurred we should know it from the state caucuses, and storm the convention.
Best case scenario is TEA Party victory in 2014 primaries, of course.

Nope...Palin isn't interested in running for President.....I believe her. So you have to have those who will make it clear they are interested and willing....''You will have a problem because WAshington also has people in mind they want to run and the money behind them to make that happen.

I do believe Cruz has given enough evidence he's interested....his show in Iowa was great and the people there were excited about him.

Ron Paul keeps hinting....and Christy would jump on it...he's already been busy getting physically prepared. And lets remember this guy who has stated he wants to change the laws so he can run....and lookey here...he's already hob nobbing in Washington....

Meeting with Arnie duncan....He's already tredding the WAshington courts...Oct.13, 2013

Good points, all.

So our first order of business is who we would want for a candidate. Whether or not they have tossed in their hats.
