The Time Has Come
Alan Levy, Gun Owner | Another miserable day In Obama's Dystopia | Alan Levy, Gun Owner

Posted on 10/31/2013 8:08:21 PM PDT by Absolutely Nobama

Fellow Conservatives, the time has come. The time has come to free ourselves from the lackluster idiocy of the Republican't party and go our own way. The time has come to tell the political operatives like Tokyo Rove to shove it. The time has come to turn off FOX Snooze once and for all. The time has come to tell the crony capitalists on Wall Street to earn a living in an actual free market instead of leeching off the besieged American taxpayer.

In short, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a third party. It's time for a third party that understands freedom. It's time for a third party that respects the Constitution. It's time for a third party that understands that only when individuals make their own choices and live their own lives, can America rise again from the depths it has sunken to.

To illustrate this point, let's take a look at a breathtakingly stupid remark from the Weeper of the House, Johnny Boehner:

***

"We want to repeal Obamacare and replace it with patient-centered healthcare."

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/barbara-boland/boehner-we-want-repeal-obamacare

***

Despite the fact that government run health care is collapsing all around us, with trillion dollar deficits, war wounded veterans told to go to hell, and a website written in BASIC by Canadian flim-flam artists, the highest ranking member of the Republican party in CONgress wants play statist mastermind (H/T Mark Levin) and create his own dystopian (and blantantly unconstitutional, regardless of what John Roberts thinks) healthcare system.

I don't know if this is sheer ignorance or willing collaboration with Chairman Obama and His Merry Band of Fascists, nor do I give a damn. There simply isn't enough time to ponder that anymore. The country is dying of a stab wound in the back. Yes, the Dhimmicrats did all the stabbing, but it was the Republican'ts who handed them the knife when they folded and funded Aktion T-4...I mean, Obamacare. In other words, in a perfect world where career politicians could be tried for passing laws that were blatantly in violation of the Constitution, the prisoner's dock would be totally bipartisan.

Yes, I'm fully aware that there were those like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and a small handful of others who fought the good fight against Obamacare. They should be commended. But let's face it, gang, they never had a chance. They were badly outnumbered, with enemies like the Mensheviks in the Republican't party, the Bolsheviks in the Allahu Akbar party, and the misery pimps in the arrogant and lazy media surrounding them.

The bottom line is this: The United States of America is on the edge political, economic, and social disaster. It's pretty obvious that Republican't party is no position to save the day, and to be perfectly blunt and honest, it has no desire to do so.

If that isn't reason enough to form a third party, I don't know what is.

Before I forget....

I wish there was an easy answer to all of this. But there isn’t.

I, like you, am a lifelong Republican. Other than voting for Pat Buchanan in 2000 (a youthful error to say the very least), I have always voted for the “-R”. That means I’ve voted for the likes of the boring Bob Dole, Juan McLame, Mitt Trotsky, and all the rest. I can’t do that in good conscience anymore. I no longer have the will to vote for our guy because he’s better than the other guy by a razor thin margin.

I wish more people had your courage, that’s for sure.

Kudos

Thanks. I was hoping my story would inspire those who see a third party as impossible.

We are the abused wives. Those who have power over us only have that power because we ALLOW it.

When we fight back, it must be with all options available. No fear of loss. What in the heck do we have to lose?

If we keep thinking the GOPe Losers and betrayers are our only salvation, then there really is nothing to salvage.

Who says that the only way to defeat the GOP is by taking over the GOP?

BS.

I’m with you in spirit, but why abandon the hard work that has already been done? Some progress has been made to replace the RINO’s with conservatives. The House of Representatives is already partially redeemed, and there are strong primary candidates this election cycle to take out some of the GOPe in the Senate as well. It’s a much shorter path to have a coup within the Party. Thanks to the Tea Party, we already have a handful of conservatives in place. Pragmatism doesn’t always have to equate with surrender. Sometimes it’s just good strategy. You can’t win by losing. Ted Cruz as the senate majority leader is a victory over the Rhino GOPe, and also a victory over the real enemy, Democrat socialists. Focus on the enemies: the RINO’s and the Reds.

If memory serves me correctly, didn’t the Republicans replace the Whigs?

Next time I suggest you use cattle prods. Nothing like a good branding to deliver a subtle message.

If I’d have had a cattle prod, I’d have used it! LOL. But, that was many moons ago. There will never be a next time. I divorced him a few weeks after that incident.

I have since remarried. 25 years and counting.

I hope you’re right. Nothing would make me happier than to be proven wrong on this point.

“...AND WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WIN ANYTHING.”

It’s the 4th quarter and we’re down by a whole lot. Ball’s on our own 3, 3rd down. Maybe we should quit running the ball and start going deep.

<...”I don’t have much hope of saving this country but I am 100% certain I’d have even less with a third party”....>

Agree....the problem really is uniting the party and that’s not happening until the rhinos are removed, more importantly the Old Guard has definitely got to go.

Heck we even see this happening on Fr as soon as someone is presented as a potential candidate for Pres....everyone jumps on rips them down....

It’s not only the party...but the people who claim to be Republican and or Conservative .....they are never satisfied with whoever runs and cut our own throats.

And cant constitutional conservatives replace republicans?

We vote them in under the republican banner, then they change affiliation to constitutional conservative.

Surely we could get Ted Cruz to agree.

Now, we just need to elect an inside man...(or woman) to get the message out.

Well, prayer can work wonders.

The only reason I’m still a card carrying member of the Republican’t party is to pay back the traitors during primaries. I’d like to see the Republican party pick itself off the mat, but I’m not holding my breath.

Even better - Make 2014 the IMPEACHMENT ELECTION! Keep the House, take the Senate and begin to impeach members of the Obama Administration until the rest offer up their resignations.

I’ve heard many desiring a third party but nothing at all in formulating one or even how they would go about...besides there already is one third party..the Libertarians. So it would really be a fourth party...

Another thing...I’ve not heard any convincing arguments in how they would expect to win if they did formulate a third party.....by the time there would be any degree of continuity and planning , preparing etc...it would be well past the next election....too late and too fractured.

Then we need to either give up or form a pact.

We can start with two who agree and go from there. We keep the arguments private and respectful.

If the GOP puts some RINO up, we don't talk ourselves into voting for him or her. We choose who we want, and approach them. Go from there. What say you?

After 2010:

—Taxes were raised.

—The debt limit was raised twice.

—The Department of Education, the EPA, and the rest of the
federal bureaucracy still exists and creating its own laws.

—Mitt Trotsky was the Republican’t candidate in 2012.

We haven’t won a thing. Time for new tactics.
