Either the kid is a lousy shot or there is much more to the truth than ‘he shot himself through his mouth into his throat’. Sounds more like some angry cop forgot he had rubber boolits in his gun and shot the punk killer in the mouth after they had him down and restrained.

and how would CCTV cameras have stopped them? they interviewed them and still it happened.

Hard to believe a gunshot into the mouth and through the back of the neck could miss vital tissues.
I'm happy to prosecute this guy every which way, but calling a homemade bomb a weapon of mass destruction is an indication of how this administration is willing to twist the meanings of words to get its way. By that definition, the Taliban are using WMD's against us in Afghanistan.

I confess that I'm starting to get numb to the constant misuse and dramatic overuse of the language by progressives of all political strips and I failed to even notice until you pointed it out.

Certainly, the Feds had a record of interviewing the older brother. Wouldn’t you pull all such records within say 60-90 miles and cross reference with state driver’s license photo’s. I mean, if you had 9,000 law enforcement officers, wouldn’t you spare 5-10 to run that down quickly? Or, are these agencies still protecting their data. I mean, we would never have known the FBI interviewed the older brother had the Aunt not blurted it out. Or, we’d know much later when tempers had cooled.
