Heck, I was confused, as were most of us on the Friday thread, watching this unfold.
Stuff was weird then, and it’s still weird now.
Was the neekid guy they arrested the older brother....prior to his being dragged down the street by his younger brother?
Where’s the driver of the car they carjacked? Why’d they let him go?
I was sure you knew that too. It certainly looks like him to me. And it looks like the tarp is quite torn up. How can that be a pic of him getting into the boat? When the homeowner found him the tarp was only slightly out of place. A strap was loose or something like that.

Supposedly he shot himself, back of the neck (if my memory’s right...). Now, never having done that myself, I ask this as a n00b to neck shooting oneself....
How the heck do you do THAT and then crawl OUT of the boat and why is there no blood even if you COULD crawl out of the boat?

That’s a good question. I’m afraid I thought your first post was facetious so my reply to it was also facetious. It is strange that he looks so spry in that pic when he is supposed to have shot himself through the jaw and neck. Plus he was already wounded nearly 20 hours earlier. I guess it’s possible to get up and move after that. Having several flashbang grenades tossed on your butt might be very motivating.
Oh yes, I imagine I'd be flying like a birdie to get out of that boat....!
Remember the pic of the bullet holes in the boat? It's a wonder he wasn't killed.
THAT was/IS part of my skepticism.
My best guess as to why he was not hit by the gunfire hitting the boat is that he was behind the engine compartment and the engine blocked the shots.
Well, sweet thing that I am....I hope it was by far THE most terrifying moments of his life.
I read the statute long ago, and that is indeed what it says. Any kind of explosive device is considered a "weapon of mass destruction" under federal law. It predates the Obama administration. It might even go back to the Clinton administration.
I didn't track the history of the amendments to the law, but it looked like sloppy drafting. It was through several indirect references that combined both explosive devices and true WMDs (like nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons) into the same classification.
No hopes for the future? lol
