...Revolution? Yes, it all sounds rather extreme, but the cold hard reality of our era is not going to comfort us with diplomacies and niceties, so honestly, why should I have to sugar coat anything? We live in extreme times and there is no longer room for prancing around the ultimate consequences of that which is taking place in America today. This country is increasingly sliding towards the edge of internal conflict. The Liberty Movement and true Constitutionalists see it, subsections of Republicans and Democrats see it, and most of all, the federal government sees it. In fact, they may even be counting on it...

In every endevor, there is a point of no return as with an airplane going down the runway to tale off. A ship taking on water. A ship listing. A building leaning. A Nation where the majority do not have the intelligence to breathe. November 6, 2012 affirmatived the we, as a Nation, have reached that point.
Just finished reading this at ZH; good read. Especially the part about the UN using Sandyhook as an excuse to bring up the arms treaty when it isn’t supposed to have anything to do with gun control in U.S.
STDs man. They got these diseases in California that end up putting hook worm type things in your brain, and then you’re just crazy all your life ~ that and the camphilobacter!
“When they finally come marching in full cop regalia to your door and confiscate your guns. That is where this is going. What will you do?”
I think people will get their guns out of the house and hidden somewhere.
The Chi-Coms demand that American citizens be disarmed.. and who is the first to spring into action?
It's no secret that Feinstein and her financier husband Richard Blum have close ties to Red China. Some of their vast wealth comes from Red China.
And there's this from 2001,
Chinese pilot Wang Wei twice "buzzed" the U.S. EP-3 Aries II plane over international waters, flying directly for the EP-3 Aries II, the F-8 hit the propeller of the U.S. plane's No. 1 engine causing the crash of the Chinese F-8.
I was angered that Ms Feinstein expressed her feelings "on behalf of the American people." I informed her in an angry letter that she did not speak for me. Her staff's reply was a copy of their publicity release claiming that she "did not apologize for the incident" and blamed confusion about her statements she made on "Crossfire;" she was expressing "sorrow that the Chinese pilot lost his life."
Best if the Americans apologise now - soon the Chinese could rule the US (2001)
"Dianne Feinstein, the senior senator from California, was unusual in rushing to apologise for the EP-3 incident."
(This article was not the source I was reacting to back then.)
Should this come to pass it will be time for the cop unions to start holding lots of fundraisers to fill the coffers of the “Policeman’s Widows and Orphans Fund”.
both sides had muskets and cannons back then.
weapon wise now there is no contest.
Tell that to the people of the Philippines, Argentina, Romania, Colonial America, Poland, Haiti, Egypt, Libya, India, etc., etc...
With his history of needing brain surgery repeatedly he's not likely to allow Obamugabe's commission to investigate the psychiatric industry.
Why do DemoQuack politicians want to punish law-abiding citizens who represent the overwhelming majority of gun owners for the evil actions of a distinct few?
Do we outlaw alcohol because some people choose to drink and drive which results in thousands of deaths? Or do we just prosecute and hold accountable those who drink and drive?
The DemoQuacks just don’t like law-abiding citizens holding guns, and are seeking once again to exploit a tragedy to further their agenda. Sickening.
I’m not sure about “revolution.” I do believe that the nascent “peaceful secessionist movement” and/or the state’s rights “nullification movement” will get a big boost. I’m not sure either one of those adds up to revolution, though.
“both sides had muskets and cannons back then.
weapon wise now there is no contest.”
True.
However, numbers-wise there, also, is no contest. ;)
DiFi needs her face rubbed in the fact that liberal judges, freeing dangerous criminals are to blame.
Along with a society that refuses to properly address mental illness, preferring to pretend that anti-psychotic drugs are sufficient.
80% of the mass shooters in the last 50 years have been on these drugs.
first, you have to get over your revulsion at murdering unarmed women and children, and the elderly, in the enemy's ranks.
you don't need much more than cooking oil and old rags to pull that off 'cause fire still works.
Make your plans and preparations. Do not be so foolish as to let it be known what they are. The unconstitutional fools in government can see in general what is happening - record sales of non-perishable food, water, firearms, ammunition. They’re stupid socialists, but they’re not stupid.
If Iran can bring one down. So can we.
I see at as the opposite of the "get out of jail free card".
If officials so choose, they can lock up almost any conservative that they want.
It will also be a registry of people and weapons that are available for pickup at their discretion. I assume registered gun owners will have to notify government of any movements of the owner or the weapon.
My question is will we be required to wear a yellow star and with the words "gun owner" and will they tattoo a number on our arms?
You're right of course. The problem for liberty lovers is how to go about it. It must be done at the local and state government levels and national organizations (i.e., NRA). Unfortunately, local govermnents now receive most of their funding and equipment from the feds.
If a revolution were to come it would be the blue states against the red ones for the most part,
not just the north aginst the south.
I’d bet on the red.
Us country boys know a thing or two bout hunting.
I think today he would tell us, You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas.
The ruling class New Normal:
Did you ever meet any of these clowns in person? I have. They’re not right in the head.
What will they do when they don't find any? Keep coming back? We could play this game for years.
When will those other imbeciles realize that compromising with evil is akin to adding just a little sewage to your drinking water? It becomes polluted.
Thanks for sharing that.
By the time the mid-terms start to roll around, the Left will still be engaged in the “conversation”, looking for all the world like reasonable “moderates” who have only the public interest in mind. To push new expanded gun laws, and get them passed (do they think they can pull off an “over, under, around, and through”
like they did Obamacare?, BEFORE then will unleash a renewed Tea Party awakening, but that too could be on their Agenda, which seems now totally committed to go “all in” on EVERY
front. The overall objective is to demonize your political opponents at every turn. It goes without saying that if enormous numbers of guns manage to get confiscated, we’ll see, just like in Australia, an increasing number of homicides, rapes, robberies, etc. committed by criminals who
will never give up the most precious tool in their toolbag, which is a gun.The guns of criminals then become their own
“Peacemaker”, like the original Colt .45 in the Old West.
It makes “peace” because the only recourse an unarmed victim has without a gun to protect himself will be roll over and allow himself to be victimized, IOW, to submit “peacefully”.
But , going forward, will we ever get an honest debate about this? Considering how the moderate Wayne LaPierre has already been vilified by daring to come out and utter commonsensical defenses of the 2nd Amendment position, I wouldn’t bet on it.The MSM won’t allow it.
And I say all the above as someone who doesn’t own a gun and probably never will.
Feinstein’s gun control bill will go to committee where it will die just like her previous bills.
Didn’t work for the Germans when Hitler sent out his henchmen to take them up and it won’t work here when obama sends his henchmen out.
Lots of tough talk and false bravado being posted; none of it has any relation to reality.
Our politicians, ESPECIALLY the POTUS, have given us any number of justifiable reasons to commit civil disobediance or have Civil War, the Sequel. But, NOTHING has happened. We are addicted to the ballot box and believe that all things can be fixed in the next election.
And, yet, NOTHING gets fixed and things get worse. Why? Because, like the dutiful, mind-numbed robots that we are, each election cycle we go to our polling place and re-lect the same RINOs and moderates who got us in a pickle in the first place! Then, we sit around on our keyboards b!tching about the choices we made. The very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result! So, what are WE doing different??
Based on past history, if Obama sends the military to our doors to collect our guns and ammo (remember how he wanted to have the authority for the military to arrest Americans on American soil a few months ago? This is why!), we will meekly hand them over because “we’re going to fix this in the next election!”.
There have been justifications after justifications for us to take some form of action against our intrusive, corrupt, bloated and illegal government. But, we do nothing except come to FR and complain.
So, at the end of the day, all of this chest pounding and saber rattling amounts to “sound and fury signifying nothing”! It’s one thing to sit at our keyboards in the comfort of our homes sounding off. It’s quite another facing reality smack dab in the face with a burly Army or Marine Sergeant standing at our door with orders to confiscate our guns.
If none of us are willing to secede or become the catalyst that sparks the next civil war, then we all need to do what we do best - shut up and bend over. Many years ago, I went to war to free a foreign country from the “scourge of communism.” Because our government wasn’t committed to a particular end game, we wasted our opportunities and slaughtered tens of thousands of young American men. I went because my government told me to go but I didn’t really care if those people got free of their aggressors or not because they didn’t care.
But, America is a different deal. I WILL willingly give my life, if that’s what it takes to restore this country to the land of freedom, liberty, exceptionalism, small government and individualism that the Founding Fathers created; because America HAS been the beacon of freedom in the world for over 200 years. Today, we are on the verge of becoming just one more third-world craphole.
So now, what are our choices? Either taking action to restore our country, or sitting at our keyboards making empty threats, complaining and waiting for the next election so we can “fix” things. Take your pick.
I see a lot of those nutty posts on libertarian bent financial forums. I just ignore them.
Not be there when they call, if caught there have throw away junk to sacrifice and be shuffling our stuff around between friends so its always at an already cleared house. What are you going to do?
that’s just silly.
private citizens don’t have even close to
the military capabilities of Iran’s military.
Hellfires aren’t working in Crapholistan either. They won’t need them. 15 police men, one house at at time will do the trick. A few of those and we’ll be falling over ourselves to turn our weapons in.
That is disturbing because there’s no reason to doubt it.
DHS may be down with confiscation because a lot are Holders people. The military is not really keen on taking on an armed populace especially their own. I’m certain that there will be “warnings” to family and friends.
It was said at the signing of the Declaration of Independence and it still holds true today.
Ruin their day, if you understand what I mean.
Not true. The "interpretation" of "the right of the people to keep and bear arms" is yet to be over. The limits of "the right" have not been "interpreted". Note that "the right of the people to vote" (Amendment IV), using the same phrasing, has limits.
What pisses me off the most is that this tactic ALWAYS works and why the hell didn't we use it when we had the Senate, House, and Presidency?
I mean it is really pretty simple. Decide what you want, ask for ten times as much, and then ‘compromise’ to what you wanted in the beginning. The idiot Republicans go in asking for what they ACTUALLY want, and then compromise for half of it. Just plain stupid.
Facts Are Facts! BTTT!
I hear ya... IMO, we're still a ways from a hot war these progressive seem to want. Let's use the time to our advantage to organize, raise hell and prepare. They have to maintain a status quo and expend energies and resources trying to get gun owners/independents to act, that they may put years of planning into action.
The longer we can postpone the inevitable, the more likely progressives will slip up and expose their agenda and illegal actions taken for all the world to see.
We strengthen our hand by organizing, raising hell, and making preparations, while being patient until forced to play their game.
We have a bunch of ex military who can organize and knows all the tricks of inflicting maximum carnage.
Except for the “shall not be infringed” part.
No other Amendment has that wording.
I accept.
Indeed! I seem to recall and ol' battle flag that used quite a bit of red fabric. ;)
Speak for yourself. This is one Three Percenter and Oath Keeper that will not go silently into that dark night.
Take as many as can with me.
