Because the legal argument over the “interpretation” of the 2nd Amendment is essentially over... Not true. The "interpretation" of "the right of the people to keep and bear arms" is yet to be over. The limits of "the right" have not been "interpreted". Note that "the right of the people to vote" (Amendment IV), using the same phrasing, has limits.

No other Amendment has that wording.
