I need your prayers

Please pray for my health. I am suffering from the side effects of fluoroquinolones (includes Avelox, Cipro, and Levaquin) which has caused depression, anxiety, insomnia, and jitteryness. Luckily, I have found a doctor who has treated people for FQ toxicity but the treatment is slow in acting in my system and I am struggling through each day and find it hard to plan anything.
Please pray for strength and healing for me and strength for my wife who has supported me morally and sometimes physically through this ordeal. Pray that the medicine is the right one for me and that it begins to take effect quickly. Pray that I can sleep well and be rested when I awake.

I never knew how dangerous FQ's were. A good, high-quality probiotic may help, along with your medicine. It certainly can't hurt.

You certainly have my prayers! I recently suffered the side effects of a medication given to me in the hospital when I was admitted for Chronic Pancreatitis. I know the horrors of a drug side effect and I pray for your speedy recovery. Thank goodness it is temporary...and you will overcome this. But, in the meantime, keep us informed and I will continue praying. Blessings!!!

You certainly have my prayers. I could have been right there with you, I had an allergic reaction to Levaquin after taking one pill. If I had not heard a friend describe his experience with the drug I might not have recognized so quickly that I had a problem. I hope you are able to recover from this drug and thank you for talking about it on FR so that others may know.
