Ryan is a good man, but does not redeem the abortionist/homosexualist statist Romney
Aug 11, 2012 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 08/11/2012 4:42:48 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Except for his unfortunate go along to get along support of TARP, bailouts, stimulus spending and the increased credit limit, etc, Ryan is a pretty good choice. Probably the best choice of the RINOS that were on Romney's short list. I support Ryan for the vice presidency. Wish he were at the top of the ticket, though.

But I still cannot and will not support the grand father of ObamaCare. Romney still loves and brags about his bastard brainchild, RomneyCare, even today when he knows what an anti-liberty socialist POS it is.

And the fact that he advocated that abortion should be safe and legal in America for over three decades of his adult lifetime and even advocated that Roe v Wade should be supported and sustained as settled law precludes any consideration whatsoever by this pro-life Christian for Myth Romney for the presidency.

And the fact that he boasted that he would be better for "gay rights" than Ted Kennedy, and proved it just increases my resistance.

That, and his penchant for gun control, his continuing support for global warming, gays in the scouts, gays in the military, and his record of appointing liberal judges makes it all but impossible for me to support him.

Lastly, we're having a bit of changeover on our moderator staff. At least two moderators resigned this afternoon after I flatly refused to rein in a so-called anti-Mormon "bigot" on FR. Well, if being in opposition to false prophets and false prophecy makes a Christian believer a bigot, then I guess I'm a bigot. I've posted before that I flat do not believe that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. Nor do I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. The Christian bible warns us to be weary of false prophets and that I am. Romney being the presumptive Republican nominee does not change that fact.

Jim, I agree, Romney remains at the bottom of my list. But Obama’s got to go, even if it’s with a slightly lesser socialist.

Maybe it’s a test.

That thought has crossed my mind, as well...

Sure am sorry that Mitt isn’t a Mason, then you and the other bigots would really be in high clover. Sad to see the site devolve into what it claims to despise..a hate site. Gone.

You can rest assured they aren't.

That’s how it’s supposed to work but the system’s not working.

But let me ask the question this way: Why not ask the GOP “LEADERS” why they allow obama to do anything he wants?

No POTUS, even one as bad as Obama, can turn this country into a NAZI Germany

It could come close.

Imagine the EO's Obama could issue. Imagine the increased power he could give to creeps like Holder, Jarrett, Samantha Powers, Lisa Jackson.

As wealth diminished among real working people there would be more "incidents" against a power-mad Federal Gov't. Riots in cities would ensue as impeachments were brought against those in power and as the deficit increased dramatically. Police strength could break down.

Yes, indeedy...all this could happen.

I will not throw my vote away just to have a conscience cleansing temper tantrum against the GOP establishment.

Well said, and dead on target.

With all due respect, that’s what we are doing here in Kansas and we are focusing on the local level. The RINO’s were sent packing and will not be on the general election ballot. The Conservatives who took their place will defeat whatever moron the democrats put up against them.

That’s how its done, not by giving Obama the support he so desperately wants.

the choice between a RINO and a Conservative is a Conservative. The choice between a Republican and a Democrat is always a Republican, there are no Conservatives in the Democrat Party.

Much of the angst against Mittens is due to his past. And it’s true he has changed positions significantly in the past.

He was raised in liberal politics, took solid liberal stands as an adult, and then as a liberal politician, and then after almost 60 years of sincere and honest liberalism, he simply rewrote everything in reverse, to run for president as a republican.

He reversed his entire belief system, his lifelong positions on everything, not from decades of growth, but to simply adopt a new set of serviceable positions for a new campaign, that had a new set of requirements.

May I add that this louder and louder hate speech toward Romney will work to suppress the conservative/opposition to Obama? With that on the table, it becomes likely that there really are soem who want the destruction to happen, to teacvh the GOPe a lesson at the expense of the death of the Republic. These posters will attack you for pointing out that IN YOUR OPINION four more years of Obama will end free elections and tip the scales of government dependents beyond what can be overcome even if conservatives turn out to vote in record numbers.

Believing what you claim to believe and standing firm with that conviction is not hate...I'm glad you are gone..please don't come back until you understand the real meaning of tolerance, freedom and liberty.

I’m sorry to see Ryan agree to go along with being a second banana to Romney. I think it hurts his credibility as a conservative champion of fiscal conservatism.

Agreed 100%. Ryan has made a bad deal with a devil.

I’m not sure how to make a hot link, but I just checked Paul Ryan’s scores on votesmart (dot org, not dot com).

He seems to be hated by all the right groups!
