These are ancient cue cards, the forerunner of the teleprompter, and were used by the first Muslim president.

After careful analysis, one encrypted card gave up its secrets. Translated from the original Hebrew, it said:

Just so everyone knows what the “apocryphal Books of Ezra” refers to.

Ezra and Nehemiah were published as a single volume in Greek and Jewish Old Testaments. An alternate, shorter version existed in many versions of the Septuagint, a Greek “publication” of the bible which was popular throughout the Hellenic world, and from which the Catholic Church gets its Old Testament.

Like the other Septuagint books which were rejected by the Jews in AD 70, and Martin Luther, “Greek Ezra” (also called “Esdras,” “Esdras 2” or “Esdras 3”*), is not apocrypha. “Apocrypha” refers to works pertaining to “hidden knowledge” which were rejected by the early church. There is no “hidden” knowledge in Ezra: In fact, there is very little unique to “Greek Ezra” that isn’t found in Ezra or Nehemiah, which is why the Catholic Church neither rejected nor approved its inclusion in the bible. (The Council of Trent simply left it off a list of books which it obliged “Christians” as fonts of doctrine.)

But I’m NOT SURE this is the book meant. There is yet another book, also called “Esdras,” making the enumeration of Esdras near impossible.

* Some count “Ezra” and “Nehemiah” as 1 AND 2 Esdras, counting them as two separate book, counting “Greek Ezra” as 3 Esdras.
* Some count them as simply as 1 Esdras, counting the shorter “Greek Ezra” as 2 Esdras.
* Some count them as Ezra and Nehemiah, but also count an unrelated book as “2 Esdras, and calling “Greek Ezra” simply “1 Esdras.”
* Some count no other book, and refer to “Greek Ezra” as simply “Esdras.”

Whenever the Daily Fail has a tabloid article on religion, the author is listed as “By DAILY MAIL REPORTER”, which is an instant indicator that the entire article is full of horses**t.

Nothing against actual archaeology in Israel, and further scholarly research on the subject, I’ve been in Israel at archaeology sites and it’s a completely engrossing and fascinating experience.

Its interesting that the cards are poured out of lead. The author stated lead was rarely used. Nothing could be further from the truth. Lead was used by the rich and powerful to seal the most important documents. Another example of the use of metallic records is the Copper scroll. That scroll holds a invaluable treasure map showing the location of the second temple treasury of Israel.

For ordinary documents Wax was okay for Europe and the Popes, but the higher temps of the ME caused wax seals to melt and run ruining both the seal and the correspondance.

Using lead tablets would be a more permanent record keeping method that animal skins, papyrus, or ink can't improve upon.

Whatever was on those cards must be very important. In my mind elevating the value of the text. Jesus wisdom might rate that type of reverance and respect as early as the second century AD, but I doubt it.

So, we are left with the exciting possibility of a third temple treasure map. Notice how this document appears at such a time as this, when many folks from islam and Christianity expect the appearance of the Messiah. Once, dechipered, I bet it's about this very subject; the Second Advent
