On the evening the President spoke on TV, I was in a bar at DC National Airport, in uniform. The TV reporter was whining about the bombing of the French embassy. Some liberal-looking yuppie turned to me and asked what I thought about us bombing the French embassy. I thought for a moment, finished the last sip of my drink and said, "Guess the SOBs shoulda let us overfly their territory." Turned and walked out leaving him sputtering.
