"On the Waterfront" was about organized crime on the Hoboken piers.
"Positively 4th Street" is an old Bob Dylan song -- he wrote it at one of the "spiritual" turning points in his life -- it was an unflattering ode to the cretins he used to hang around with in Manhattan's Greenwich Village back in the 1960s.
I don't know how long it's been since you've been there, but Hoboken today has become a trendy, poor man's New Jersey version of Greenwich Village.
