Comment is in the Thread but here is a copy and paste... Hello Brother Vets. I get the "The My HealtheVet is temporarily unavailable" quite often, when I try to log in . Should I setup one of those other accounts, or is the site just over loaded? What's your guys experiences with it? Some times it kicks me out when I switch from VA claims and Medical Records... and vis versa. Thanks for any input.

I haven’t had that issue too often. Do you use a VPN? If so, turn it off and try again.

It just worked fine for me. The are probably continually under attack form many organizations. The whole country cyber is under attack worldwide. The Chinese took 22,000,000 military personnel records form OPM some time ago.

It has been reported that the VA is having major technical issues. I guess they are using affirmative action hiring. It is a complete mess. They just delayed an upgrade for another year because they can’t figure it out. 8.3 billion dollars does not get you very much IT evidently.

I usually have to log into VA.gov to access Myhealthevet. They have changed the website a little.

I did the math, they can hire an army of 50,000 IT professionals to upgrade their systems without hurting their equipment budget.

Our two dog’s vet is available all week long and on Saturdays. They also don’t usually answer on the website. Call them.

I was locked out of my account for a year. The incompetent IT director has just been nominated by Slow Joe for the Deputy Secretary Job!!!!!! I spent mucho hours talking to total idiots. Finally got a somewhat sane person on the phone, not watching TikTok videos or porn, to finally straighten the account out. Have plenty of time, patience, and hope to hit one of the few helpful people.

I use the Login.gov option.
Never had any issues (besides it being "gov").

Not to be the iconoclast here, but I haven't bothered much with the websites the VA offers -- always problems, badly coded, overloaded... I just do everything the old-fashioned way, with the phone and a calendar (MS Outlook on my PC). If I need copies of stuff I get it at the desk after the procedure, some on disk immediately (X-rays, MRIs, CAT scans, etc.), some things via snail mail, like radiology reports, lab results, and that sort of thing.
This is ironic because I've been a software engineer for forty years now, but sometimes old ways work best, particularly large and slow-moving entities like the V.A. No complaints.
