The U.S. Army's top enlisted man is close to unveiling the final version of the World War II-era Pinks and Greens uniform that could be approved for all soldiers next year.

They did have some cool hats back then.
I mean, come on, berets? The French have berets...
They were heavy wool and unpopular. The officers uniforms were pretty sharp looking.
I liked wearing my c____t cap.
He don't skur me none.
I could take him.
:)
Lol.
Nice new uniforms and all the money involved won’t do a thing to clean out the moral rot taken hold in the Army or other branches. The cross dressers, homosexuals, using women as cannon fodder moves forward relentlessly. No one seems to care so long as the left wing media and politicians keep quiet and watch the military destroy itself with the approval of the generals like Mattis, Kelly, McMaster and others.
This uniform was called pinks and greens in the 1950s when it was first worn. It has nothing to do with the homosexuals controlling the military now, although they likely have no complaints.
General Schwarzkopf and a few other Gulf War Generals were probably our last real generals. He saw it happening and retired.
“This uniform was called pinks and greens in the 1950s when it was first worn”.
The pinks and greens go back before the 1950’s. They were very popular during WW II.
Sadly, none of the options suit armor.
The field dress doesn’t either, it looks cluttered and lumpy with all the gear attached.
This seems a better starting point -

Add armored robot horses for personal transport and logistics.
And will the Ike Jacket be included?
I know that the US Army Center of Military History was asked for information and photographs about the WWII uniforms. It was the officer’s version that was nicknamed “Pinks and Greens” from its tan trousers and olive drab jacket. Khaki colored shirt and tie and brown shoes. Enlisted uniforms were olive drab trousers and jackets.
And I wonder if that means Khaki’s will come back as the standard “Class B” uniform?
Here’s a link to the uniforms the U.S. Army Air Corps wore in WWII. You will see that especially for the officers’ uniform, the shirt and trousers were indeed distinctly pinkish in color.

I don’t get it. 8 to 10 years ago they brought the blues back (and looks sharp as heck, imho). Now another uni change?
You’d think the govt.is printing money or something. ;-)
They look great!
An improvement would be abolishing ribbon only awards like the “rainbow ribbon” and some of the other b.s. medals.
Yet to see where the “Pink” figures into this. Uniforms do not look bad, nowhere near as spiffy as USMC uniforms.
