I do not advocate this at all. My post is more a warning of where ongoing terrorism could lead if they go “too far” (whatever that means with the delicate sissies now in power in most western countries, but imagine that a man like Putin gets angry and decides to end this problem) . . .
If a country like Russia, with lots of nukes, targets the 50 Muslim majority countries, and in each of them bombs significant cities with over 98% Muslim populations, they can make a big dent. Indonesia has 204 million Muslims, Pakistan 178 million, India 177 million, Bangladesh 149 million, Egypt 80 million, Nigeria 76 million, Iran 75 million, Turkey 75 million, Algeria 34 million, and Morocco 32 million. That’s just under 1.1 billion Muslims in ten countries alone. Throw in a few more countries, and radical Islam could be made into a footnote. The number of Muslims left worldwide would barely exceed the number of Jews, except that the Jews have a work ethic, values, accomplishments, and education. The surviving Muslims would have only the anger that too many of them already nurse.
Putin would also have huge international issues, which would harm Russia far more than their recent land grab. Still, particularly if he had a terminal medical condition and a personal reason to be angry, Putin might decide it was worth it to wipe out the problem and then take the blame personally. Russia could hold a fair trial, convict Putin, execute him, and apologize. And the overwhelming majority of terrorists would still be dead. I’d rather see moral/ethical Islamic leaders stand up for civilized behavior, even from their own followers, and bring an internal end to radical Islam. However, a violent western backlash could also bring Islamic terrorism to an ugly end.
I don’t disagree, but I pray it does not come to that. If they can consolidate power in a country or two over there they will attack Israel again (it’s what they do - can’t help it) and hopefully get the snot kicked out of them again, but the rise of Islamist Turkey is going to be a game changer in the world war against radical Islam.
There won’t be peace any time soon no matter what we do. Just had a suicide bomber that appears to have prematurely detonated before he could walk into a concert with 2000 people in Germany. We have imported this and will suffer the consequences - its hard to blame other nations when your “own citizens” are doing this.

These days, with technology, couldn’t the corrupt and evil terrorist leadership be targeted selectively? That was not generally possible in WWII, other than perhaps in the case of the failed plot to off Hitler.
