Conservatives: Want Freedom with Responsibilities.
Libertarians: Want Freedom without any Responsibilities.
Liberals: Want No Freedom with No Responsibilities. (Hillary's little people liberals don't realize this is where their leaders would take them)
Conservatives:
- Drive the speed limit, or something close to it, knowing the penalty for getting caught driving over the speed limit.
- Keep their house and property in good shape and up to the community standards.
- Like the Constitution and all it stands for.
- Dont' tolerate criminals, and want them all punished to the extent of the crime.
Libertarians:
- Drive whatever speed they want while smoking pot, if they hit someone, well too bad, they should have known there are no speed limits, and maybe now they learned something. EFF the world anyhow.
- Keep the house and property in good shape for growing pot, and protecting it from the neighbors who want to steal it. EFF the world anyhow.
- Only like the parts of the Constitution that don't say that pot is illegal. That old Constitution parchment also makes a great rolling paper. EFF the world anyhow.
- There are no criminals, nothing is illegal.
Liberals:
- Drive bicycles like in China.
- Keep their house and property, uh wait, the government furnished commune and surrounding federal land, in whatever condition they find it each day. Where's the super been the last couple months anyhow?
- Hate the Constitution except for the part about free speech...well before the government took that away after the Liberal Supreme Kort ruled that every word ever spoken offended at least someone, and therefore all speech was determined to be hate speech.
- All criminals are promoted to positions of liberal leadership.

I can't think of the type of person who likes No Freedom but all the Responsibility.

Thought provoking! As in, provoking thoughts about how somebody can so clumsily misrepresent libertarian positions. Are you truly that misinformed?

Libertarians: Want Freedom without any Responsibilities. Many libertarians and libertarian-leaning people believe that the best way to enforce responsibility is to make people bear the costs for their own mistakes. Don't enforce extra penalties for not behaving in 'approved' fashion, but don't try to reduce he naturally-occurring consequences of people's actions either.

BTW, you should note that there are two classes of liberals: those who want to control everything, and those who want someone to take care of them. Of course, liberals like to pretend that the Republicans are the party that favors the rich when the super-rich are all liberal Democrats.

Liberals want sex and homosexuality taught in schools.
Conservatives want school taught in schools.

Liberals want sex and homosexuality taught in schools.
Conservatives want school taught in schools. I like that line. I think it should be pointed out, though, that many libertarians are emphatically opposed to the active promotion of homosexuality by the government and by government schools.

I left Libertarians outta this. They have some good ideas as opposed to the liberals who have none. But Libertarians are too straggled right at the moment. They are splintered too much. Once they get together at least a little more they may get stronger.

Libertarians: Want Freedom without any Responsibilities.Nonsense.
Only like the parts of the Constitution that don't say that pot is illegal.

You know, when you have to point out the obvious it really undercuts the smidgeon of sarcasm, doesn't it?
To: supercat
"that many libertarians are emphatically opposed to the active promotion of homosexuality by the government and by government schools."I don't know that the schools are "actively promoting homosexuality", so I don't know what they're opposing.
I do know that some schools are treating homosexuality as a lifestyle no different than heterosexuals, and that they should have the same considerations. Where do "many libertarians" stand on that?
To: HighWheeler
Eh? Whose sarcasm?

It is satire....right?

"It is satire....right? To some!
Thanks.

"Parent" comes pretty close.
"Willingly endures" is closer than "Likes."

You are way off on Libertarians. They take a stand for the constitution. The other two parties (especially that one on the left) are actively destroying it. Libertarians, like conservatives, have taken a huge stand for personal responsibility for ones actions.
I happen to know many Libertarians, none of them do drugs.
I am going to play devils advocate here, you said conservatives want freedom. You also seemed to mention pot in every sentence pertaining to Libertarians. Does the freedom to smoke pot infringe on your freedom in anyway? If yes, how, and doesn't smoking tobacco, or drinking alcohol fit the same category? Is freedom not the ability to do what you want, so long as it does not harm anyone else?
You said "There are no criminals, nothing is illegal." That is not true. They just stick to real crimes, such as theft, rape, and murder. If your actions do not harm anyone else, "go for it." They treat people like adults, and don't legislate personal safety, or morality. If you don't wear a seat belt, or helmet, that is your business. If you want to do drugs, or live a promiscuous life, fine, but don't ask big brother to bail you out when, or if, you hurt yourself.
