The only one of the six that I can stand is Gov. Perry of TXs.

did he:
support bob dole?
support john McCain?
support mitt Romney?
and I do not mean late in the no other choice game, I mean earlier than most.

He's saying that to win the nomination or the presidency, you have to at least be a governor or senator (or vice president).
So, yeah, do you really expect him to endorse Herman Cain or Duncan Hunter or Alan Keyes or Tom Tancredo or Pat Robertson or Bob Dornan?

‘First you win the argument, then you win the vote’ - Thatcher.
Who’s the only one out there winning the argument with the grassroots? Cruz.

He is probably correct
We need an executive, a proven executive that is a leader

No, if Jesus Christ is not running, many will not get off their lazy butts to go vote

The problem with Jindal is that he strays into the natural born citizen controversy. Both of his parents were non-citizens when Jindal was born, his mother being 3 months pregnant when she arrived here.

RE:”
His list, which he told Business Insider in an approximately hour-long interview Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul. “ Rand Paul?
I don't see how he fits with the others who are/were all governors.

Well said. Discussing and debating who is the most conservative is healthy now and throughout the selection process. But once a candidate selection is made, we all better get our asses out to vote. We lost the last election because many stayed home and pouted. This country cannot afford another libtard president.

The best shots the Republicans have are
Rick Perry
Scott Walker
Mitt Romney
Sarah Palin
Ted Cruz
Romney will have substantial sympathy vote from people who will have wished they had voted for him in 2012 instead of Obama.
No Republican has a snowballs chance if the same Democrat ringer campaign managers that McCain and Romney choose to run their campaigns manage the 2016 campaign

Jeb BUSH doesn’t have a snowball’s chance and it would be embarrassing and suicidal to run him. No Democrat will vote for him. Few Independents will vote for him. Even most Republicans won’t vote for him. ENOUGH BUSHES. ENOUGH ALREADY!
To: chicagolady
Ehh. Walker's had his hands full fighting off death threats from the Unions and multiple recalls with national Dem coffers behind them.
Can you name a GOP candidate who *isn't* rushing to embrace either illegal immigration on the one hand, or H1-Bs on the other?

True statements both.
Grover Norquist needs to do something about his personal situation I daresay, and go get a real job as a plumber or something. Please note the date of the article from March of 2014.
