one of the best speeches I have heard in a long time this morning. very well written, structured and delivered. yep, there is something about that look of DC’s! it is the same one I got from my father when in all the wisdom of my very young youth I tried to bullsh&t him about something, he didn’t have to say a word.
Everyone with guts and principles has ‘that look’; even those who don’t know it when they see it.
Yep! My dad had that same look. There was no way getting around it if the look was directed toward you. It could make the most agressive, back down and step back.
“Speech” was probably offhand comments from the heart.
Obama is the speech guy.
