But does anyone really believe Paul can outright win?

No. He should run with Kucinich on the UFO Party platform with a Department of Peace ahd an 1800s style isolationism. I suspect these "money dumps" are being funded by Soros, in the hope that this nut job will be the GOP nominee, thus reducing Republican turnout to the 5 libertarian-contrarians who support him.

I’m not a Paul fan either....but after learning that we have troops in 33 countries, 30 of which hate us, I wish him all the best. Not to mention the rest of the world that we continue to lavish funds upon...with little thanksgiving or appreciation received. Isolationism does have it’s perks. We’d have a lot of money to spend on border patrol/fences, alternative energy development, social security, etc.

I suspect you're completely wrong. I honestly can't believe FReepers are engaging in this crap. We've prided ourselves for years on getting the facts and sniffing out BS in the liberal media. But I guess the same rules don't apply to Dr. Paul.

So George Soros is sending thousands upon thousands of checks to homeschoolers, gun owners, college kids and disappointed Republicans to fund a candidate that isn't taking votes away from any of the Republican frontrunners and no one, anywhere, has noticed. Riiiiiight.

The whininess and conspiratorial nuttiness here is approaching that of DU. I think we're seeing the birth of "Paul Derangement Syndrome," where usually rational conservatives switch to liberal interventonists when they hear a candidate preach the same foreign policy they were preaching when Bill Clinton was the one sending troops overseas and attacking terrorist targets.

Perhaps the anti-Paulites at FR and the run of the mill wackos on DU can get together sometime to discuss medications.
