The end is nigh. Of the third quarter of 2007, that is! And I need your help to make sure that our campaign gets a big boost. At the end of the second quarter, on August 1, we had more money than McCain, and we got a million dollars worth of free publicity.
This time, we can get 10 million dollars worth, IF we have good results to announce on October 1, and therefore the resources to build for the future.
After all, our ideas have never been needed more. The Federal Reserve is killing our dollar, the war is killing our soldiers, police-state methods are killing our civil liberties, and the income tax and bureaucratic meddling are killing our economy.
But there is hope for America in the ideas of this Revolution. What progress we are making, all across this country, among all groups. The mainstream media may ignore us, but we are winning strawpolls, drawing huge crowds, getting local media, moving up in the regular polls (a lagging indicator, of course), organizing, dominating the internet, and preparing the way for the early caucuses and primaries.
As our opponents begin to falter, and the undecideds grow in strength, this is our time. When people learn about our ideas and our work for them, they join the Revolution. So my job is to make sure they learn!
But I can't do this job alone. I need you. Please, reach out your hand and clasp mine. Our country is at stake, our children's future and ours is in the balance. Help me go into October with a roar. Help me build this campaign as it must be built.
A 13-year-old said to me the other day, "Dr. Paul, you are the hope of my future." No, I told her, but this Revolution is. Will she grow up in a poorer, more socialist, more militarist, more oppressive country? Or the free country you and I love?
Let's work together with all our strength for the Constitution, for America, for all our people, for freedom, prosperity, and peace. Together, you and I can make a Revolution. Let's do it!
Sincerely,
Ron
Message from Ron Paul...
I’ll grab my secret decoder ring ;’}
Paul’s lack of support for our military efforts is one of the big reasons I stand up against Paul. I also think his conspiracy theories are too wierd and nutty for any person holding a public office. He just does not impress me as very stable emotionally.
I believe we need a strong libertarian in office (with a small L), and I was leaning towards Ron Paul until the debates when he was calling 9-11 our fault. But, honestly - Paul supporters, why should I not support Fred Thompson?
His working with Russ Feingold to pass campaign finance reform and his membership in the CFR?
Fred voted for CFR and No Dollar Left Behind; he did vote no on the 2002 Farm Bill budget buster. I need to look at his voting record more since I think a candidate's record speaks louder than words (uttered to win votes).
I wish Tom Coburn would run.
Ron Paul calls the Iraq struggle against Al-Qaida and Iran an “illegal war”. Where is his adherence to the US Constitution in that? Go look for love in Russia and China, Ron. American soldiers and marines aren’t interested in your crap.
And who prey tell, WHO will save us?
Jesus Christ, Saint Peter, Saints Michael, or Matthew, Mark, Luke or John?
Nope: Ron Paul will save us, he's better than all of the above put together.
Line up and receive Ron's blessing:
"In the name of Blogging , Press Baiting, and the Fierce Loyalty of Wing Nut supporters, I hereby grant you absolution from a declining dollar, the Iraq war, police-state methods ,income tax and bureaucratic meddling. You are hereby admitted to the Ron Paul Utopia of unbroken wet dreams."
( Why thank you Ron, I feel better already!)

BTW -- I didn't realize that candidates could use FR to solicit funds?
(Here's a LINK to that video.)
Thanks for that link. Pretty scary.
The guy called himself Napoleon XIV. His real name was Jerry Samuels. The flip side of the 45 was the same song, backwards.
I must be missing something. I don’t see a picture (on post #12)...
You telling me that I make no sense makes no sense.
I’m going to watch the Cowboy Bear game. If you decide to make some sense and tell me why I don’t make sense, maybe we both can make some sense.
I’ll check in at the end of the first quarter.
WRONG? To cut to the chase, this is the opening claim of this RON PAUL propaganda line which they support by misrepresenting campaign contibutions as coming from actual military members and veterans. Most of those contributions were actually from civilian employees of military agencies and the Veterans Administration. When pressed the Paulites back away and claim they never said it. I hate to appear ignorant, but could someone tell me what code pink is and what does it stand for?
Your posts in that thread reek of nothing but desperate spin.
