I don't know if its Biblical, but it is probably liturgical:

"By the mingling of this gasoline and oil, may we come to share in His Divinity as Christ humbled Himself to share in our humanity."

It would re-inforce our belief in the hypostatic union as well as theosis.

On second thoughts though - if we are going to be properly Trinitarian about this, and no-one has invented a 3-stroke yet - would a rotary engine be better?

On the other hand, they have invented a "3 way" light bulb, but I'll let you on to a little secret:

It's actually a "4 way" bulb.
