That's a matter of opinion.

When I first joined FR, I hardly ever bothered with the Religion Forum Catholic threads. They were usually derived from the same flavourless and uninspiring mush I had sickened of in the mainstream Catholic Church.

Ultima Ratio's tireless posting of well-written and learned arguments made me stick around. He has articulated what a good number of voiceless Catholics have been unable to in their own parishes.

The Catholic Caucus would not be what it is today without him. You can consider that a commendation or a condemnation, but his influence here is undeniable.

You express my thoughts exactly. I have learned a great deal from UR's posts. His rational and knowledgeable arguments are hard to refute and he definitely keeps the conversation interesting as well as controversial. He definitely lives up to his user name.
